The composter works great. However, I did break two parts during the 2 years I have had the composter. Lifetime really means Lifetime. Each time they sent me new parts -- and did not even charge me for them. That is great customer service

Excellent customer service

I have a double bin rotating composter that rusted with time, which is expected since it’s kept it outside in the rain, but the hinge broke. I emailed customer service and within a week they sent me replacement hinges will all the accessories!!! I am amazed by their excellent customer service and standing behind their products!

Lifetime double compost barrels

I've been using the double barrel compost bin continually for close to ten years. I live in the NE where winters can be cold and summers wet and humid. The bins, if turned periodically, produce useable compost quicker then any other set up I've used. One of the hinges rusted shut and broke when I tried to open it. Nothing lasts forever when exposed to freeze cycles and rain. I contacted Lifetime hoping I could source a replacement hinge instead of buying a new barrel. Lifetime sent me a new hing...

Still Going Strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for over ten years. Just replaced the hinges, they sent them free. Should last another ten or twenty years. Makes the fastest compost of anything I have used over the years and easiest to turn and blend.

We bought a dual composted years ago. The hinges have rusted and one no longer works. I contacted Lifetime and they are sending replacement parts at no charge.

Quick response and service!

Corner parts for my composter have fallen out and become lost over many years of use. I requested to purchase a few of these corners, but, was immediately answered that I would be shipped replacement parts. A whole set of corners was immediately sent at no cost to me. I am so impressed with Lifetime’s service and also their product quality. We have several other products from Lifetime, and have never had an issue. Great company that stands by their products!

I bought a double bin composter some time ago. After some good use there were parts that needed replacements. Their customer service was great and willing to help replacing the parts even in the middle of a pandemic. Glad I made the choice of buying their product.

I lost some parts for my composter and contacted the company to get replacements. The person that I dealt with was extremely helpful, and arranged to have the parts sent to me. I was more than satisfied with the way the situation was handled.

We own the double bin Composter and the metal parts rust after a year or so. The latch is completely rusted through on one side. I called for replacement parts and the agent told me the parts are on back order and it would be one to two months to get them from China. I saw reviews on this product and most were the same-rusted parts. The agent was courteous and knowledgeable, He said they would replace the parts for free.

Superior customer service

My opinion of the composter has gone from love to hate to love. I was delighted with the unit initially because of the ease of use, and the convenience of not having to turn the compost pile every week or so. The delight faded when the latching mechanism rusted and became difficult to open and close the access door. Superb Post-Purchase Support

Pros: Superb tech and parts support for issues with the composter. Using a tumbler is the easiest way to turn compost piles. Cons: For me, composting works best when the material is in contact with earth, rather than suspended above. Earth-contact composting works faster, makes better compost, and is less inclined to stink.
