Great fridge, but product testing was a fail

My wife and I really like the inside water supply. I also really like the ice cubes. They create mini half diamonds. It’s very nice. Wonderful refrigerator

Acceptable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the refrigerator. It was delivered and I noticed some marks on it that were minor. I'm so OCD I didn't know whether to report them. By the time I had noticed them the delivery people were gone, and I had no choice. I needed the refrigerator in my new home.

Perfect for my small chefs kitchen

That’s why I now have another and can’t rate it 5 stars yet. I need to see how long this ice maker will work. Other than that, I love everything about this refridgerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. The layout is nice, the appearance is great, and the operation is quite functional. Working with the retailer to resolve an issue with a dent in the door and a missing support leg.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great performance for keeping foods cold, nice position of water and icemaker features, and I really appreciate being able to locate and find food items easily. I wish I could accommodate a larger refrigerator, but, my kitchen configuration won't allow for that. I highly recommend this refrigerator.

Beautiful, but interior water spigot sprays and is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is very nice with great features on the inside and works well. The only downside has been the water spigot. We followed the directions to eliminate the air from the line and it still sprays. We must hold the glass up as high as you can to avoid needing to dry off the drawers and inside walls. Would like someone to contact us to correct the issue.

Ice Maker failed within 5 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker failed within 5 weeks of delivery. The design of the ice maker is really bad, and the opening and closing of the freezer causes strain on the wiring, which ultimately failed. This is the 3rd refrigerator I have had where the ice maker fails, far before the main portions of the fridge. Maybe comapnies will learn, not to put a cheap outsourced component on to a high end quality product?

Beautiful but extremely loud water dispenser

Very noisy water dispenser, we even spent $ to replace water filter right after installing the fridge because it was so loud. Didn’t fix it and still loud, but goes quieter after a minute. No clue what the issue is, but it’s not because it needs a new water filter.

Great features, but problematic ice maker.

Many people reporting the ice making tray falls out and it happened to us and had to schedule repair. Ice bucket overfills and ice falls out the back when opening the drawer also. Would rather have ice and water dispenser on outside of door. Thanks

It does, however, produce excess ice cubes that accumulate and rub noisily (crunching sound) against the icemaker when the drawers are pulled out. Buyers Beware!!!!

I’ve been upgrading my kitchen appliances one by one to Kitchenaide and now I’m pausing and questioning myself. I had this new fridge delivered the end of January and in 6 months we are having our ice machine fixed a third time. I’ve been without ice more than I’ve had it. Ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excessive ice production. When opening freezer drawer sometimes ice falls out down below. I scheduled visit with Whirlpool repairman. He order new ice maker and replaced it. He said this may not fix the problem, it is design flaw. He was right. New ice maker works just like the old one.

Great refrigerator, bad icemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright the refrigerator itself is great in terms of looks, utility and key the food fresh, the icemaker stopped working within the first 3 months of purchase. Have requested a repair with Kitchenaid and they sent out a repair tech but it’s been two weeks and they’re still searching got the right part, apparently some issue with their order and availability. Not what I had expected from a reliability perspective from Kitchenaid brand

Looks Great, Ice Maker Breaks Constantly

I got this fridge March of 2026, it looked great and functioned great until Mid July. Then the Ice maker tray began repeatedly falling out of the housing, causing the ice bin to fill up with water and all freeze over. I was able to snap it back into place a few times, but it falls out again shortly after. When the ice maker did work, it would fill the bin up so high that when you open the drawer, ice falls off the back and behind the drawer at the bottom of the freezer. The rest of the fridge is...

Have not had ice in months.....

Nice fridge...worked with no issue for a couple of months. THEN....ice maker quit working, and the center flap produced condensation drops on the floor. Tech has been to the house 4 times in 4 months. Waiting on Whirlpool (who owns KitchenAid) to come back on a replacement or another pointless, waste of time visit from the technician, who is also annoyed that they continue to send him out....
