Great pair of wire strippers, a toolbox must have!

These wire cutters/strippers are awesome. They work fantastic and makes cutting and stripping wire a breeze. I only wish I had gotten these years ago! If you don't own one, but one. You will not regret it.

Needed this to assist in rewriting a boat. Guide is easy to understand and use cuts were clean will DEFINATELY recommend

Nice wire strippers

This is a nice wire stripper but until you alter the technique, may not work every time. I found how you hold the wire against the left stripper decides if the wire is stripped or only dented. When your technique is fine tuned this is a great product. Easy to use and strips a nice section of insulation. One of the greatest features is the tools ability to strip most sizes of wires without any adjustment of the tool.

Have to squeeze 2 to five times to strip wire

Not good at all compared to other I owned. I have it set to the smallest but still have to squeeze 2 to 5 times just to strip 10ga wires.

great tool

Bought these for 2 reasons. 1 I own several Irwin tools and they have been very good quality, 2 These cost less than what youd pay for a professional pair amd the have all the same features. These Irwins make wiring a snap!

Beats using a knife

I've always used a knife but since we're building a house I decided to break down and get strippers. They work great on #10 or smaller, if you have #8 or larger, leave them in your tool box.

Great wire strippers

So much easier to strip wires without having to place the wire in the proper cutter size. once and done. Especially useful in tight spaces and stripping short wires

Hi end wire strippers

I’ve used these strippers for 4 day now and the only problem I’ve had was stripping 10 gage house wire, they just couldn’t hold the wire to strip the wires.

Overall useless

IRWIN Wire Strippers rock

I just bought these today and they work wonderful. I'm using them for smaller electronics projects. 16 to 24 ga wire and wire for breadboards. They strip perfectly. Every length is correct, I love them.

This tool is great!

It's unusual to see so many positive reviews for a product, so I was hopeful that I would have the same experience with this and I did. It's simple to use, grips well, and is really, really fast. No reason to strip wires any other way in my opinion!

These will work great I some wire but I had difficulty cutting wire

Irwin vise grip wire stripper wears out in 1 year

the 2 top jaws that grab wire casing lose their strength and tool stops working. works great out of package but slowly becomes useless.

Bought these to replace my old pair. These don't grip the insulation strong enough - just slides off. Very disappointed!

Not worth the money

It worked great for a few months. Then jaws would not grab wire even after all the adjustments. They are in the junk draw now.

Great Strippers !!

Guy i work with let me use these & i fell in love with them. If you have to strip alot of wires these make it so much faster & easier . definitly recommend them !

The right tool for the job

I was installing an air ride on my motorcycle and decide to get this tool for the wires. Let me tell you that this tool will removed the fear of cutting your fingers with a knife or razor blade. It give you with precision the amount of expose wire that you need with in a second. If you work with wires all the time this is a must for your tool box. If you work with wires as a hobby do yourself a favor and get this tool you won’t regret having this tool
