I love this stripper!

This is by far my favorite pair of strippers I’ve ever owned. They work fantastic for car wiring and make the job a lot quicker. I can’t believe I went this long without them. I highly recommend these for auto wiring!

I wish I would have bought years ago

For years I used a pair of crappy wire strippers because the “worked” and I didn’t want to waste money. I just moved into a fixer-upper and I knew I would be doing a good bit of electrical work so I went ahead and broke down and bought some “real” wire strippers. The amount of time and frustration saved by this tool makes me wish I would have bought it years ago

A tool that works right!

Wow! I can't believe how long I went without this tool! I had tried one by a different company that friend had bought and it was junk. I read reviews about the Irwin being better even though looking the exact same and decided to try it out as I was installing a backup camera in a car and needed to tap into wires that were tightly packed with 20 or so other wires in the same harnesses. Lasted 4 years then both springs broke

Great tool for stripping 28 gauge wire. Lasted 4 years then both springs broke so the tool is useless unless I can buy the 2 broken springs. Dont see them anywhere so I guess I'll buy another. Hey Irwin where can I buy parts for this tool?

Nice for cutting anything less than #12 wire

I bought this tool a few months ago. It worked great on indoor #12 Romex wire, always a clean cut. I attempted to use tool on some #12 outdoor (gray wire) and it broke.

They feel good and work well. They seem sized for larger hands, but that works great for me.

Works great use them daily

I use these almost daily and they work great on all types of wire. Ive tried useing cheaper ones that were of like design and ive used far more expensive pistol grip from "snap off" with no luck. These irwins, however, get the job done. Im an rv technition, i use them on everything from romex to speaker wire and even some heavier gauge stuff coming off of gen sets. TERRIBLE!! JUNK!!

This thing doesn't even deserve one star...I have tried to strip every type of wire in my house and with absolutely no success. The right jaw simply will not take a bite on the wire. I have tried all size wires from 10 to 24 gauge and the thing does not work at all. What a piece of junk! I saw the videos of it working but note that the tool does not work well - even when it works at all. They must have terrible quality control in Taiwan and at Irwin...

works ah sometimes

I have used this about 7 to 10 times... Worked great, after that it works sometimes...Does not do. what it claims to do. I only used it on 12 - 14 gauge nm sheath cable.....very poor performance from a great company.
