Don’t Order from Lowes

I had the worst experience ordering from Lowe’s. The refrigerator did not arrive when scheduled. When it arrived it was broken and the delivery people spoke no English at all. I had to speak with the Lowe’s dispatcher . I was told Lowe’s would contact me to reschedule. I never received a call. When I called, I was asked if I still wanted the refrigerator. Worst Purchase Ever

Worst appliance ever purchased. Purchased in 2021 last year the ice maker and freezer stipped working. All repairs services state that this is a GE problem. To date i havr gotten zero help from them. This purchased replaced a 22 year old whirlpool fold fridge. Looks like thy are making disposable appliances. DO NOT BUY THIS or ANY GE appliances EVER

French door refrigerator with bottom freezer

The size generally has ample room for groceries & some dishes in containers/pots for leftovers. Only disappointment is when dispensing water it doesn’t have a display for volume. Prior same model refrigerator showed number of ounces dispensed in a container. Freezer section is large with an extra drawer for smaller items (I use it for butter, cream cheese, flours, etc. separately from meats & vegetable bags. Temps seem adequate. Don’t know how to determine energy use solely from this appliance.

Water & ice dispenser controls

The refrigerator I purchased is black in color and the contro lunit for the water & ice dispenser screen is also black and it doesn't light up so that you may read the function settings. Since an owners manual isn't furnished, an instruction sheet would've been helpful with the control settings.

Poorest buy I ever made

I hate everything about this refrigerator. Worst buy I have ever made. Very cheaply made. Both ice makers are horrible. Ice comes out in sheets and won't feed through dispenser. The closing on the doors takes muscle to close them. Freezer drawers very flimsy and squeak when closing or opening. I could go on but this will suffice.

wish the ice maker would make ice a little faster and the ice holder had a bigger capacity

Compressor Failed

Compressor failed a couple of years into owning and the warranty only covers 1 year! Going to be hard to recommend getting another GE appliance after this experience

Refrigerator is very large and has great Capacity. Only negative is the doors are difficult to close, which may change in time, and the Ice Maker Capacity is Small. I have to make bags of Ice and store in Freezer when Entertaining more than a few people

installation went fine. BUTI didn't receive the water cable I paid for, they took it with them, even though I paid for it. I did not receive the water connection cable.

Happy so far

So far the unit is working well. The capacity is good. The features are easy to understand. The finish is very good.

Display/Discontinued

The product itself is very good for the price. The issues arose following delivery. The Fridge was in "Display Mode". That means the only thing that workers were the lights. The delivery guys were not aware or told this was the case. No water, no ice and no cooling The delivery man discovered there was no filter supplied as it was a discontinued floor model. The refrigerator lights turned on but dimmed. I tried to replace them but no luck.
