Don’t buy

This refrigerator forces you to replace the filter.. It has a smart chip in the filter and you cannot reset the filter on the fridge like you’ve always been able to, you have to replace the filter to get the light to go off on the fridge. How stupid just a money maker. Shame on you whirlpool.

Hoping for better performance

We had to buy another GE refrigerator because the first one we bought 8 years ago has been nothing but problems. We went with GE because it matches the rest of our appliances. If this goes bad it will be the last GE appliance we ever buy

Only worked a few days

Fridge only worked a few days before it stopped cooling and freezing. Come to find out it had a faulty compressor. I would not but again....

Nice fridge but for me not reliable

Purchased in April 2022. Love the layout and the capacity. The finish cleans easily and the water in the door. The filter is way overpriced and has a chip in it so the fridge knows if you have changed it or not even though my whole house filter, which costs half as much, is a finer filter than this one. When it works it is a great refrigerator. It has failed 3 times now in 3 years. 2 compressors and once with a "No idea why but now it's working." I have a complete lack of trust in it as t...

Great refrigerator at excellent price

Needed a n emergency replacement and Lowe’s delivered within 24 hours. Spacious fridge with none of the superfluous “bells and whistles” that don’t belong on a fridge.

Purchased 7/24. From the beginning, the ice maker did not produce enough ice for 2 people. GE replaced it under warranty but replacement was no better. The water filter must be a GE part as others don't work because of chip. The 3rd GE filter lasted only 4 months @ $52+. Rip off.

Won’t hold a lower fridge temp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to like this refrigerator but I can’t. The biggest issue is that I can’t get the fridge portion to maintain a lower temperature. I followed the instructions exactly as written in the owner’s manual, but can’t get it any colder than the default temperature. It’s going back for a refund.

Great for the lake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this frig for my lake house thinking about the capacity needed for beverages and food when I entertain. So far, it has been great. I also had the added ice maker installed into the freezer so we would have ice in addition to the built in icemaker. I appreciate this option and I know we will use it especially during the summer months.

Fridge is nit cooling properly. Freezer not working at all.

We love it! It has a couple small dings on the front, but, we are loving the larger capacity and the lighting is excellent. Really appreciate the alarm for a foir not being closed.

Great except for just one little thing

I love this refrigerator and would give it 5 stars except for one small thing. Ice forms around the “door” to the ice bin making it very difficult to open. I have to try to pry it open every day just to make sure that it will open when we actually need it to be opened.

shelf sace is very limited unlessyou remove shelve

It is a large refrigerator, but not enough room between shelves for a gallon milk jug or a tall oj.
