The door alarm and seal is killing me!

We purchased this refrigerator again after having one for nearly 7 years and suddenly the seal caused it to set the alarm off. We get the new one and the seal is bad setting of the alarm.

Very stressful deliveries.

The delivery and information sent by Lowe's was a nightmare. We ordered 4 appliance's. There were 3 deliveries. The updates I received via text just said I had an appliance delivery scheduled but not what the appliance was. It said I could see my updates on my account. I found out early that somehow my purchases had not gone on to my Lowe's account page. I was informer it had gone to another user (who just happened to have my name and phone number. I was told they would expedite my reques...

GE refrigerator

Purchased this refrigerator September 2022. Stopped working July 2026. Just shy of four years. Now I’m going to try a Frigidaire to see if that brand will last longer.

Unhappy

Not real happy because freezer keeps malfunctioning. Ice maker on door thaws and drips water into freezer.

Broken already?

My fridge is only 7/8 years old and the ice machine broke 2 years ago and now the refrigerator is no longer cooling- it’s around 58°. Oddly the freezer works. This isn’t the stress anyone needs with a big expensive appliance. ( also my matching microwave broke 3 years ago as well)

Not the quality I expected

I'm not thrilled with this refrigerator. It is large, which is great, but the bottom drawer of the refrigerator is only accessible with both doors open. There is an almost constant vibrating rattle from the water/ice dispenser tray. The TC (turbo cool feature) is a complete lie, doesn't do anything at all. The doors are difficult to close, you have to push way too hard to get past the 'catch point'. The freezer drawers are hard to open and squeal when opening and closing. I'm really sorry I we...

Handles on GE products suck

Barely 2 years old and the freezer handle has broken off in an only Adult family home. Same issue with our dishwasher and noticed the microwave handle is cracked. We won't be buying GE products any more.

Compressor is going bad after only 6 years!

Compressor is going bad after only 6 years! ANNOYED now we have to buy a new fridge.

Only a 1 year warranty

2.5 years old and won't freeze. Tech said compressor is bad. TWO AND A HALF YEARS OLD

Great fridge, great price, great brand

Fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, great design, customizable shelving, plenty of lighting in both the fridge and the freezer. Would love to see a butter compartment, but that's really the only feature I wasn't able to find.

Not their best model

I usually really like GE products but this model I would not purchase again for 3 reason. First, in taking off the plastic covering after it was delivered the plastic would not come out of all the edges. 2. Shelves don't have a lot of adjustment levels to allow shelves to fit taller objects like a gallon of milk. 3. Very little ice - seems like ice runs out after needing a couple cups full

Avoid there are better options out there.

Had this unit for about a year. The design and layout of the shelves are poor. Makes it difficult to fit items in at times. Produce drawers are terrible as veggies get moldy or degrade quickly. Ice bin is to small. And now the freezer doesn’t keep things frozen. Worst fridge I’ve had.

Failed after only 5 years

Ours had a sealed system failure after only 5 years and we had to scrap it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

NEVER ARRIVED

Our delivery has still not arrived and nobody is able to tell us where it is. ALL of our appliances are missing in action. We rented a truck to bring this to our new home and the driver still has not shown up. LOWES will not reroute the driver on a later date to our new home. DO NOT ORDER FROM LOWES.

Brand new broken

Product arrived with faulty door/light sensor. Service technician was sent out one month later.

Less than 5 years old and already has problems. GE refuses to send out service repair or stand behind product.
