great product

easy install. great for installing decking boards and hides nicely under/in-between boards.

Clips work well, screws are junk

Clips are great, but the screws are made from the sorriest metal on Earth. The heads strip easily. I actually had a couple of screws end up in a corkscrew shape. Once the screws strip, you have to use vise grips to get them out. Big hassle and delays project.

I wish they could be bought individually

Let me start by saying I love the hidden fastener system. I rebuilt and enlarged my deck and it looks great without the screw heads being visible. My only issue is that you can't buy the VersaClips without the starter clips. In my personal experience, you don't need that many starter clips and you end up paying for them. I have a bucket full of them after buying so many kits. I will also have screws to spare.

The only issue I had with these is the screw head strips way to easy, weak metal

These fasteners are great for spacing, but the screws will strip out if you aren’t careful when screwing them in.

Thevfasteners work well for the application of deck boards. However, the screw heads strip very easy. I had to replace about 10%.

FastenMaster VersaClip

We purchased Trex Tropics decking boards and Trex hidden Fasteners. It seemed that the gap it left between the boards was too wide so we purchased the FastenMaster VersaClips. That gap also looked wide, but after laying a few board it looked a lot better. We ended up buying more of the FastenMaster VersaClips, they were a little easier to work with and seemed a little sturdier.

I'm very impressed with this type of fastener. It seem to hold well and I like the look of my sack when I was finished.

Brackets are fine, supplies screws are trash.

The supplies screws immediately strip out. Doesn’t matter what setting you set your drill to. Garbage knock off trex system.

Excellent product for fastening decking.

These clips are quick and easy to use when fastening decking to framing. The only issue I have is the price and that is the only reason for a 4 star review.

These fasteners are the way to go! Very easy to use and you don't have to fight getting them to work and do what they are supposed to do like a lot of others!
