Cuts like a gas engine. Perfect for bucking a tree or felling trees in the 16" diameter range. Felled and bucked three trees on one charge. Perfect time for a break. I don't know about bigger than that as my trees weren't that big.

Great for yard clean up

I can get a good amount of work for the battery as well. A minus is battery (need to wait to charge) but the machine operates as strong as a gas one.

Love this saw!
This is my 2nd EGO purchase and am very happy with it. I really love not having to mess with gas/oil mixtures or tempermental carburetors. This saw has all the power that I need and the 6 AH battery outlasted the job I was doing. I thought the saw might be too heavy with the 6ah battery but it was very well balanced and you really don't notice the weight. I don't think it is any heavier than a comparable gas saw. I do have the Makita version which is a lot lighter, but the engine torques out whereas this one has some serious power. Making project easy peasy.

The only con I found was it didnt come with bar and chain oil, had to stop in the middle of my task to go get it! It would be amazing if it was included it would make it more convenient. I only done a small project but it cut threw them like it was butter no pull back or hesitation at all. I love this!
