Excellent replacement for gas chain saw

Not as good as gas powered
Would Not RecommendDoes not compare to my Husqvarna gas powered. Chain blade dulls very fast. Works on small branches but not very effective on large tree trunks or branches. Will use on shrubs and smaller tree branch trimming since battery operated is a little more convenient and quieter than gas. Product registration is a 2 hour project until you figure it out and get help reading extremely small print serial number. Youtube said to upgrade the bar and chain with an Oregon combo, I am waiting for it to arrive. 1...

Only used it once but it cut up a decent size tree that had fallen in the yard. Put the battery and oil in and started cutting. Very easy !!

Get rid of your gas chainsaws
Would RecommendI purchased the Ego chainsaw to replace two gas operated ones. The ego chainsaw cut through every log, ran for 45 minutes and still had plenty of charge left. Quiet, strong running and as a little gift the replacement chains are cheaper than the ones for the gas chainsaws.

Good for people who have trouble starting gas saws
I just recently bought this chainsaw because I am getting old and my hands have trouble starting a gas chainsaw. I have only used it on limbs that have fallen from my trees. The saw is heavier than I thought it would be when I purchased it. However, it's not too heavy. I would give it a higher rating but I am waiting to see how it works on larger tree limbs.
