thrilled with my electric fireplace.
I replaced a Franklin Stove type of electric stove with his electric fireplace. It is so beautiful and with the addition of a water glass fire screen no one knows that its not real...especially when the heater is on. Its also extremely quiet. We are thinking of purchasing another unit for another fireplace in our home.

Couldn't Be Happier!
This is my second insert of the same model in 5 years. I live in Florida and have a wood burning fireplace that I used to burn real wood, then fake logs and now my Dimplex insert. I first saw a Dimplex insert in a non-working fireplace in a high end home theater store. It looked so good that I open the screen and wrote down the name. Delivery was fast. Flame is surprisingly realistic and provides a cozy ambience to the room. Would not count on it to provide much heat to an averaged size room. Bought to replace a wood burning fireplace that may have become ""less than safe"" for real fires. I actually find myself backing up to it. Happy with purchase.

Wonderfully versatile, designer's dream
I needed a small fireplace to fit into a custom-built wall cabinet that houses a TV on top. This one fills the bill exactly! My interior designer loved this idea for a totally integrated kitchen - major appliances, TV, storage cabinets all in matching panels. I didn't need the heater but that's nice to have as an alternative. The fireplace is very reasonably priced and arrived on time. Thanks!
