Can’t get rid of smell
After repeated uses we still have the lingering smell of burning off while in use and we usually use low setting. We do not recall this happening so long on our previous Dimplex non delux model 09

Supposed to be directly plugged into a socket
Would RecommendDimensions were correct so no issue fitting into my fireplace. Only issue was it made a scratching noise when first turned on. The inside rod that has all the reflectors on it to give that moving flame look was bent so it rubbed against the bottom on one side. Easily came apart to fix that though.
