Gets More Use Than A Corded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as well as any corded circular saw I have owned. Being cordless allows you so much more flexibility to use for jobs that would have previously required you to run back to the shop or to drag out long extension cords to build on site. Just no cord to get in the way is a huge bonus.

Very handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago, and used it on a few small projects so far. Very handy being the cordless model. The only complaint I have is that the guide isn't exactly on with the blade, maybe a blade width off, but it's such a slight complaint that it's not worth taking a star off of the overall rating. So far so good, can't wait for the big project that will require this tool!

Cordless Freedom and Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a few months ago, and have used it a lot. No having to deal with the cord is a game changer. Has enough power to handle any reasonable task for a circular saw that a typical corded side-winder would be able to take on.

All around great tool

Great for thin material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought several 20v tools and I have been impressed by all except this one. It does well with thin material and is very convenient. If the wood is 1.5 inch thick or is not completely dry, this saw is frustrating in my experience. I hear the 60v version is better.

Can’t believe I waited so long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t believe I waited so long to buy Dewalt. I’ve owned other brands lesser priced and similarly priced but none have lasted. These are the best hand power tools I have owned. They are durable, rugged, and most importantly, reliable.

Solid Power. Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this saw for about 6 months now and couldn’t be any happier with it. With a 3.0+AH battery it lasts a solid amount of time. Love the electric brake and the guide lines on the base are very true.

Great for all of my DIY Projects

It makes all of my DIY home projects a breeze especially being a woman. I love The cordless saw because I can easily take it to one of the multiple workstations I have Around the yard.

Shoe adjustment and bevel stops impossible

Had saw 1 month, shoe not square to blade out of box, adjusted shoe to square and there is no way to re-zero the bevel index so that the index reads zero when it is actually zero or is accurate at any indexed bevel including the bevel stops. The bevel stops are not accurate out of box and worse after adjusting shoe to square with blade. Changing blades has same result. Saw is useless except to make square cuts with shoe adjusted to +3 degrees on bevel index. DeWALT fail.

Game changer for cordless Circular Saw

If you own the Dewalt 20v platform, consider purchasing this Circular Saw! I own it via purchase of a kit, but really felt the need to review this saw alone. I have owned, used many different tool brands, Porter Cable, Orange tools, Red tools, and many other corded ones. I would put this saw to the test against any of them. The weight, balance, and raw power is second to none. Have I stalled the blade and shut the unit down, yes, but that was on a seriously cupped 2x12 cutting stringers for...

Absolute Beast!

I use this saw a lot. Recently rebuilt my deck and it was a champ throughout the whole project. Plenty of cuts from one battery charge. Easy to use and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

WORTH THE MONEY!!

I always thought "what the heck ill just buy the less expensive tools and if it goes bad in a while ill just buy another". Big mistake. after going through a lot of different ones and limited to no power or battery life I finally did it. Best decision I have made in a long time. I am slowly switching my crews tools to Dewalt!!
