Great Saw

Great Saw. Tough. Surprisingly the battery lasted a long time while using this. Light enough to hang on your belt in a pinch or hang on a ladder. Went with 7-1/4” size because I still have some corded saws the same size blade. Awesome addition to my dewalt collection. No laser but still 5 stars.

Over All this saw is outstanding

Saw did a great job on cutting plywood. The saw comes with a blade but I didn't know that a time of check out. I had to purchase a blade but once i opened box there was a blade under saw.

Reliable brand

It is a great saw, and the fact that is cordless is a great advantage. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase

No power

I tried to cut a one inch pine board and it kept shutting itself off it barely had enough power to turn the blade the brake system may be part of the problem

bad saw

when i bought it was making a rubbing noise after second time useing it quit

Just like it said in the reviews, it quits on you even when the battery is on a full charge! In the middle of the cut, it stops and the light starts flashing. I tried several different things in my attempt to get this thing to redeem itself— ALL my other DeWalt tools are an easy 5 out of five stars. Not this one. Wait for DeWalt to figure this out. It SHOULD be a recall.

Great all around saw

Has all the features you'd expect, rafter hook, led light, good t handle, decent performance, and light compared to other 7.25'' circs. The saw cuts just fine but can bog when being pushed through 2x rips. If you slow down a little it's fine. The brushless motor allows for long run times (lots of reviews that show lots of cuts even on a 5ah battery). The thing I like about this saw is the ability to use so many batteries. Only used it a few times but looking forward to more projects soon

You must judge the saw on the basis of correct use

If you have a proper fence, rail, table, and everything is clamped and measured correctly, this saw will do the trick well for most jobs. Good purchase.

Works Great!

I haven't had it very long yet but I did use it to cut out a section of floor. Adjustments were very easy. I used it with the 8 AH battery that came with my kit. Power was good. No problem cutting through the floor. I think for the most part the power is sufficient for most normal jobs. I did not try to stall it. It cut smoothly and quick.

Butter!

This thing cuts through 2x4’s like a hot knife on a butter (6ah battery).

This saw is awesome!

I was in the middle of building a front porch on my house when UPS showed up with this saw. I immediately pulled this saw out of the box (which I got with the 8ah battery) and finished the entire porch on less than half a battery! It cut composite decking and 2x10 lumber no problem. Then today I took this out to the ranch with a full battery and cut several large railroad ties like they were butter! I cannot say enough good things about this saw!

You need one of these for your collection

So I never was a tool guy at all. I wish I had spent my early years buying good quality tools instead of not buying tools at all. This saw its a must when you do projects around the house or just on the weekends. I had a smaller saw but was difficult to cut with it. This is 7 1/4 and its the perfect size. Powerful. It came with a free battey with a promotion they were running at my lowes. I do prefer the 60v batteries if you can buy a couple of those specially if you have a mitter saw.
