Easily one of my favorite tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently built a shed with one of these. My uncle who's a professional contractor uses this exact model. Brought it to help me out. Instantly after a couple days of constantly putting this saw through its paces I knew I needed one. I literally bought one 2 days after finishing the shed and so far haven't regretted it 1 bit. Still an incredible tool.

Great tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the convenience of a cordless circular saw and was not disappointed. Have used it for a handful of construction jobs and it handles just like a corded model would. The brake on this model is excellent, stops the blade almost immediately. Good lifespan with a 4ah battery and with a second battery in rotation I've never had to wait to get back to a job. Great tool, would highly recommend.

Best saw I’ve ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence about buying a cordless saw, worried about down time while waiting for batteries to charge. But with the 6ah battery I’ve never had a problem. Easily worth a few extra bucks to cut the cord!

Accurate and will last till the job is done!

Great Tool

Powerful and fast cutting saw

Great circular saw

Best saw

I'd easily pay full price for this saw again and again. Even dropped it multiple times on accident while transporting tools from truck, not even a nic on it. Worth every penny.

SHREDDER

Daily use. Works great all day flex volt. Combo kit with yellow charger if you can find it. One day cut a roof up shingles plywood trusses, used maybe 4 full batteries. Shreds 2x with the 24t black dewalt blades. Framed a basement today cut every 2x with it. The owner was watching said that is an amazing tool! Also think I have the magnesium shoe. But love the saw. Smooth powerful durable

Proper alignment of motor for use and function

I purchased this model because unlike so many other cordless saws the motor and blade are on the correct and proper side making this available to be used by right-handed people. This makes it extremely dangerous to cut with the other saws if you are right-handed attempting to cut left handed and also causes not only possible injury to yourself but also damage to the wood when cutting it.

Dewalt Cordless Saw

This is an excellent saw. I wished that I had purchased it a lot sooner. It has plenty of power for cutting through lumber and he battery lasts quite a while. I often have job sites without any power. I no longer have to worry about bringing a generator. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

under-powered

This saw is otherwise well reviewed by others, which surprised me when I started using it as I find it under-powered. For plywood the power is fine, and I decided to not return it as the battery power is convenient. But when cutting a 2x4 if the off-cut isn't well supported the weight can cause the blade to bind. Any kind of scribe or rip cut leads me to pulling out my corded saw. Some other features I like are the electric brake and I find the saw to be pretty comfortable to use.

Easy to grab for a few quick cuts

I bought this for when I just needed to make a few quick cuts or when I didn’t want to drag out a bunch extension cords. So far it has worked fantastic and has more power than I expected for a cordless saw. I have no doubt that it will work great for larger projects as well

Unbelievable!

I had to replace a stair that had rotted and had let somebody borrow my corded circular saw so I picked this up as I had previous DeWalt battery tools. I know I was using a brand new DeWalt saw blade too, but I was still expecting at least a little "drag" as I was cutting pressure treated lumber. NO SUCH THING!!! This baby cut through every piece like it was pudding let alone butter!
