Would Not RecommendI like Dewalt, almost all my power tools are dewalt, but this saw I can never get it to cut a 90° cut. even with the blade perfect with base, when I cut it always back cuts. very disappointed.

Incredible saw
Would RecommendMy other (big box home improvement depot store) brand circular saw released the evil blue smoke and died, unable to handle 23/32 CDX plywood, got about two feet into the cut and that was the end of it. Our local Lowe's has a person working the tool area that proves he belongs working there every time I visit...he is good, knows tools, and has not steered me wrong yet. I told him I am tired of "homeowner" grade power tools, need something that will work every time and not burn up. He walked me...
DEWALT XR 20-volt Max 7-1/4-in Brushless Cordless
Would RecommendThe saw works fine on paneling in places where electrical outlets are not available . I would give this more stars if the battery and charger came with it .

Battery life
Used first time yesterday; Plenty of power, well balanced, Won't cut for more than 3 or 4 rips on 1/2" osb

Great for left handers
Would RecommendThere were two different dewalt circular saws available in the 20v series. This one was a few dollars more but being as I am left handed it allows me to watch the leading edge of the blade without having to twist myself around. I just finished cutting about 60 board ft of 1/2 plywood and still have a full charge on my battery. Much much nicer than the one I owned years ago.

Best in class performance and features
Would RecommendBy class I mean cordless, 18- or 20-volt, 7.25-inch circular saws that do not require special batteries--such as DeWalt Flexvolt, Metabo HPT Multivolt, or Milwaukee 12.0ah batteries--or two batteries (Makita) to function. It is true that the DCS570 will not work well on a small battery. It needs more power. I have only used it with 4ah batteries, and it has done everything I needed it to, and well: crosscuts in 2x and 4x stock, rip cuts in single sheets of up to 3/4" ply (including vertical demo...

Very powerful cordless saw perfect for every job
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this saw from the smaller "brushed" 20v saw earlier this year, and it's so much stronger than other cordless saws. I originally started to look into this upgrade when I decided to build a set of steps for my father in law's place on the New River. I knew I would need to able to make allot of cuts, but I didn't have access to a generator. This saw performed so much better than I could have anticipated. I was able to finish the whol...

Great saw
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw several months ago as a bare tool and built an entire shed with it and a DeWalt impact driver. Only downfalls of this saw are expensive batteries and I really think a rip fence should come standard along with a case or at least a bag. This saw lasts a long time with a 4ah battery and has plenty of power until the end. The rafter hanger is a plus for hanging the saw out of the way instead of risking it falling of the ladder. Ev...

Solid Saw to Own
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are considering buying the 6-1/2 saw compared to the 7-1/4, I would recommend you buy the slightly bigger saw. This saw goes beyond my expectations, the deck on the saw is sturdy to provide consistent accurate cuts. The best part about this saw is the joist hanger, it folds out of the way but allows the saw to be securely hung when not in use. Having a cordless saw is worth its weight in gold, when working on projects where running exten...

Whoops my bad, great tool
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first cuts were crazy bad, until I change the direction of the blade that I installed wrong. The saw power is outstanding. Used to cut thick treated wood and other materials - plywood, laminated press wood (1.5" thick).

Amazed
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a die hard DeWalt fan. My tools started with the drill/driver combo and bought it along with the Porter Cable and rigid but my DeWalt products have surpassed and other tool I’ve bought or used. I have everything from, recip saw, jigsaw, drills, impact drivers, oscillating tool but I will say the skill saw surprised me the most. I was reluctant to buy it, afraid it wouldn’t hold up but man was I wrong, this tool does the job every ti...

For the price this saw is amazing.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just bought a pair of 2 5 ah batteries, so I didn't need the battery with the set, I got the saw for the same price as a corded saw. The battery lasts pretty much all day depending on the job, and it's rather light, with a rafter hook or was exactly what I need... My only issues with it are, the battery indicators are on the opposite side, making it hard to check, and it can be hard to see the depth setting, but very very minor.

A really powerful saw and bang for your buck
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw as an upgrade from my 6 1/2 inch 20volt dewalt saw and couldn't be happier. Way more power than the older model and a deeper cut depth. All in all it's a sweet saw. The 60volt flex volt circular saw is next on my list.

Plenty of power, easy to control
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this saw for a year now and have used it on many projects around the house and remolding jobs. The saw has plenty of power when paired with a larger ah battery. The saw is very capable of cutting sheet material and 2x boards without feeling uncontrollable. The front handle position feels very comfortable and easy to hold. The weight of the saw is very manageable. Adjustments are easy to do and the shoe seems very sturdy and durabl...

Lots of power
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work as a carpenter and need to cut studs and plywood nearly every day. Normally you would hear people say that cordless saws are bad for cutting plywood. Not this bad boy. If you use this saw with the FlexVolt battery, you will be cutting cleaner and faster than any plug in saw I have ever used. And with the FlexVolt FastCharger, you can recharge in a fraction of the time as other brand chargers. I would highly recommend this saw.
