I like Dewalt

I like Dewalt, almost all my power tools are dewalt, but this saw I can never get it to cut a 90° cut. even with the blade perfect with base, when I cut it always back cuts. very disappointed.

Incredible saw

My other (big box home improvement depot store) brand circular saw released the evil blue smoke and died, unable to handle 23/32 CDX plywood, got about two feet into the cut and that was the end of it. Our local Lowe's has a person working the tool area that proves he belongs working there every time I visit...he is good, knows tools, and has not steered me wrong yet. The saw works fine on paneling in places where electrical outlets are not available . I would give this more stars if the battery and charger came with it .

Poor quality

Doesn’t seem to have the power to cut anything. I regret this purchase

Used first time yesterday; Plenty of power, well balanced, Won't cut for more than 3 or 4 rips on 1/2" osb

Great for left handers

There were two different dewalt circular saws available in the 20v series. This one was a few dollars more but being as I am left handed it allows me to watch the leading edge of the blade without having to twist myself around. I just finished cutting about 60 board ft of 1/2 plywood and still have a full charge on my battery. Much much nicer than the one I owned years ago.

Best in class performance and features

By class I mean cordless, 18- or 20-volt, 7.25-inch circular saws that do not require special batteries--such as DeWalt Flexvolt, Metabo HPT Multivolt, or Milwaukee 12.0ah batteries--or two batteries (Makita) to function. It is true that the DCS570 will not work well on a small battery. It needs more power. Only downfalls of this saw are expensive batteries and I really think a rip fence should come standard along with a case or at least a bag. Solid Saw to Own

For the price this saw is amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just bought a pair of 2 5 ah batteries, so I didn't need the battery with the set, I got the saw for the same price as a corded saw. The battery lasts pretty much all day depending on the job, and it's rather light, with a rafter hook or was exactly what I need... My only issues with it are, the battery indicators are on the opposite side, making it hard to check, and it can be hard to see the depth setting, but very very minor.

Normally you would hear people say that cordless saws are bad for cutting plywood. Not this bad boy. If you use this saw with the FlexVolt battery, you will be cutting cleaner and faster than any plug in saw I have ever used. And with the FlexVolt FastCharger, you can recharge in a fraction of the time as other brand chargers. I would highly recommend this saw.
