Would Not RecommendI bought this online to replace my 15 year old hammer drill/driver received it & immediately noticed the battery is loose (rattles) to bad quality control isn't there in dewalt tools anymore.

Best drill on the market
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this drill and use it every day, drilling holes in electrical panels for my conduit. Some days I drill as many as 30 holes and it never let's me down. Battery last long I only charge them every other day.

THEY 'FIXED' WHAT WAS NOT BROKEN!
After 3 months my chuck started jamming opened. Thought that I would simply replace it....but no can do. That chuck screw is attaches the chuck from inside...requiring specialized tools and a complete drill dis-assembly. Their earlier 1./2" hammer is not this dumb design - its chuck is removed as all chucks have been designed - B.D. (before Dewalt). Wished I bought the DCD795. I will now have to treat my DCD996 'gently'.
