Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago I needed to install a few concrete anchors outside my home in Atlanta. My Hammer Drill from the big box store just didn't cut the mustard. But my DeWalt made short work of the holes I needed to install the anchore in that concrete. So I was understandably skeptical of this "compact" series of hammer/drills and their ability to do the same job as my larger and older DeWalt hammer drill. Earlier this year I bought the compact dril...

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have had this for over a year now and no problems with it. my last job the owner would only buy dewalt and so I did when i went to a different job. its a little on the heavy side when you use it all day, but around the house and outside i have no problems with it.

Awesome tool
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great hammer/driver drill to own. I do a lot of drilling for my field, and this item has out performed any other brand that I have used.

Gets the job done!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this driver! I purchased mine to replace a 20 year old Makita and can’t believe I didn’t make the switch years ago. My new Dewalt cut its teeth on a fishing boat refurb project I took on and it performed flawlessly. Plenty of torque and speed for any application. Annnnnd I love the fact that the battery is interchangeable with my Dewalt weed eater and so many other tools. Dewalt all the way for me from now on! (Bonus points that...

Reliable and powerful
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using Makita for years, decided to switch to Dewalt and really happy with it. Can’t say i am a guy who really takes care of the tools but even thats the case Dewalt is holding up and doing its job. It’s powerful enough to hurt your wrist if you are just holding the drill when it gets stuck.

Love the overall look
Would RecommendI just want to say I just bought this drill and knew right away from the box. This was a good drill. Love the weight !

Impressed
Would RecommendI was a little jaded about buying a hammer drill/drill combo; I've bought 3-4 of them previously. They are all used solely as a drill now. They just don't seem to have what it takes to drill in cured concrete; not even 5/32" or 3/16" holes. I do have the Corded Hammer Drills and also the Dewalt SDS Shank Cordless 20V DCH273B (Incredible tool by the way). But I was looking for something that could drill a 3/16" hole without carrying two tools to do the job of drilling holes and driving concrete s...

died after three months
Would Not RecommendHad drill for three months, rarely used and it completely died on me. Never experienced anything like it from DeWalt... Terrible.

Great tool
Would RecommendGreat addition to my toolbox. Often need a hammer drill when no power is available or when dragging a cord around is a trip/slip hazard.

Worth the extra money
Would RecommendGo ahead and spend the extra few dollars to get the hammer drill as opposed to the drill driver. Much better torque.

Power for days till the day it dies
Would RecommendIt’s an amazing drill like idk what you are supposed to say it drills holes really well buttttt here are some things it likes fully changed batteries, warm weather, not getting wet... Things it doesn’t like cold weather, snow, 4 1/8” hole saw, any sort of moisture, really anything that you would normally do with a drill as a contractor/ electrician or any other trade. End take on it if you are a home owner it will last longer that you if you are a tradesman I’d say 14 months tops it lasted me...
