What Customers Are Saying
The metal hose mender has received mixed reviews. Many customers found it easy to install and effective at repairing damaged hoses, with comments praising its durability and tight seal. However, some users encountered issues with the mender not fitting properly on certain hose sizes, internal components not aligning well, and the mender failing to prevent leaks under water pressure. The overall consensus suggests the product works well for some users, but may not be a reliable solution for all hose repair needs.

Would RecommendThis works great. It is made by yardsmith and it works very well. I tried the one sold by the orange store and had to return it. This yardsmith works much better. I've probably repaired 4 or 5 hoses with this product in the last year.

Metal garden hose repair
Would RecommendThis little unit is built like a tank. Each side tightens down on the hose in a way that it will never come apart. I spent a lot of money on my 100 foot hose. When it developed two kinks it seemed almost unfair that it should be replaced. I found these by accident, got two of them and fixed that hose so it has another maybe ten years left in it before I have to buy another one. Nice little unit - highly recommended.

Awesome repair for hoses
Would RecommendMy water hose was broken in half and I cut a piece and repaired it with this metal hose repair very easy to
Works well but clamps need to be placed correctl.
Would RecommendThis clamp works but you've got to have the clamps in the exact correct spot on the brass fitting otherwise they slide and leak the first time you pull on the hose.
They are nearly indestructible!
Would RecommendI have used Metal Hose Repairs several times. They easily fix a damaged hose.
I was told in store by salesperson that the 5/8” connector repair part works for 5/8 and 3/4. Made wonder why have a 3/4” hose if you can only get a 5/8” repair part? It works but I wonder if a larger diamter one would be better if you have 3/4 hoses?
Holding strong.
Would RecommendUsing this metal repair to replace the plastic one of same design. The plastic one lasted two years. This should last longer.

5/8" Fitting
Would Not RecommendThis fitting is listed as a 5/8" to 3/4" diameter. I found it impossible to link my two hose ends of a Zero-G hose to this link.
