What Customers Are Saying
The metal hose mender has received mixed reviews. Many customers found it easy to install and effective at repairing damaged hoses, with comments praising its durability and tight seal. However, some users encountered issues with the mender not fitting properly on certain hose sizes, internal components not aligning well, and the mender failing to prevent leaks under water pressure. The overall consensus suggests the product works well for some users, but may not be a reliable solution for all hose repair needs.

Would Not RecommendThe clamps blew right off. I retightened and they leaked again. There is not enough "shark bite" ridges to hold a hose. Conversely, a plastic style repair kit worked the first time and is still holding.

Solid product
Good solid product. Works well. A little expensive for the purpose.

It works and doesn’t leak
Would RecommendIt worked to connect my hose together after I cut out a pin hole leak in my 100ft hose and did so without leaking under normal circumstances. If I really pull on the connection it will start leaking, but not dragging the hose around the yard. I used water safe silicone (Molykote 111) at the hose&metal connection to help with any leaks.

Worked Okay.
Would RecommendThe inside of my hose has a rib running inside which I tried to shave off. It still leaks a little because of it, so that's disappointing, but it's not a deal breaker and it's not the fault of this product.

Does not fit to 3/4 inch hose
It failed to work and started dripping water at the repair area. does not fit good for 3/4 inch hose though it claims it will work. A piece of junk and waste of time and money. I will never buy this and never recommend anyone. I will look for my money back from Lowes for selling this bad product.
