What Customers Are Saying
The metal hose mender can be an effective and economical solution for repairing damaged garden hoses, though the quality of the included clamps is often poor. While the brass or metal coupling itself is generally seen as a good quality component, many reviewers found the clamps to be too narrow, prone to stripping, and unable to be tightened sufficiently to prevent leaks. When used with higher-quality clamps purchased separately, the mender was reported to work well without any leaks.

Would RecommendEasy to use - an economical solution to replacing an expensive garden hose
It is a good product.
Would RecommendI have used one of these before. They are very good. Bought this one for a spare.
not good
Would Not Recommendthe hose clamps are weak and useless. Tightening them caused them to strip, making the clamp impossible to tighten further and the hose continues to leak.
Don't buy this. The clamps are cheaply made.
Would Not RecommendThe clamps are cheap and strip the first time you use them.
Cheap Clamps
Would Not RecommendThe hose clamps can not be tightened enough to hold. They pulled out and it wasn’t worth returning so I just threw it away.
Great item to repair "Run-over Hose"
Would RecommendPurchase this as a backup at the ready for upcoming mowing season - usually run over at least one hose. Have used these before and they work great.
