What Customers Are Saying
The Yardsmith aluminum hose connectors have a mixed performance. Many users found them convenient and time-saving, with the quick-connect design being a standout feature. However, a significant number reported issues such as leaks, corrosion, and poor durability. Some noted the connectors are not made of brass as advertised, but a cheaper aluminum alloy prone to damage. Overall, the quality and reliability are inconsistent, and users recommend using Teflon tape and being cautious when mixing the connectors with other metals to prevent corrosion.

Would RecommendThese quick connects save a lot of time switching between hoses and watering accessories.
Didn't work at all
Would Not RecommendThese did not work at all, leaked continuously, there was no seal of any kind. I immediately returned them.
Love these Connectors
Would RecommendThis is a part for the completed connector. I have provided pictures of what it's connected to and final result. I am in the process of adding these connectors to all of my hoses for easy removal and connect. They are easy and look great.
The Aluminum Hose Connector which all others
Would Recommend...will be judged by. Solid construction aluminum that looks so much like brass. Nice plastic/possible nylon washer insert. I do not yet have a use for the MALE end which requires a bad or damaged end to be replaced but as soon as I do, I will be reaching for this one.
Save a Hose
Would RecommendThis aluminum connector is the perfect solution for extending the life of your hose. I used boxcutters to cut off the sharp, cracked nozzle-connector end of hose and then I pushed this piece into the hose. It has an extremely tight fit, but it will not leak once the spray nozzle is attached. This connector is heavy duty and quick to attach.
The product came with no instructions.
Would Not RecommendBeing that there were no instructions provided I may have used the product in a manner that is not supposed to be used so I would not recommend anybody buying the product without a special need for it.
Works great
Would RecommendFirst of all the consumer must know this connector is useless by itself, you must have the female quick adapter to first connect to the hose. The hose connector can then be attached to a spray nozzle or other device. If you take your nozzle off and on frequently, this is a really great idea. Get it attached ONCE with no leaking and you're done. I was concerned this device would leak, but it doesn't. I would equate this to a compressor attachment, just pull the ring back on the connector and pull...
quick connector
Would RecommendThese connectors are a must-have. I already have many of these installed on garden sprayers, power washer wands and power washer input. I have three faucets with hoses installed around the house with the female connectors that make garden watering and power washing much easier.
Just need another part
Would RecommendI wanted this to replace the hose connector I had. This one was okay but it needed an additional part to keep the connector securely in place. I not sure if it will save water. The hose connector is very nice and appears to be very durable. It looks great.
Leaks
Would Not RecommendThese do not seal at all. When I put an attachment of any type the water sprays from between the 2 connections.
Best I've tried
Would RecommendI've tried a variety of the plastic versions of these and they all end up broken. So far, these seem much more sturdy and way easier to connect/disconnect. Tight fitting and no leaks.
cheap and leaks
Would Not RecommendBought a bunch of them and since theyre made cheap materials (they say aluminum but damages like plastic) they leak easily. Totally trash
Bought is and other yardsmith items to fix my hose
Would Not RecommendNone of the yardsmith hose repair items I purchased worked. They were difficult to install and leaked when the water was turned on Same goes for the Spring thingy that attaches to the faucet.
corrosion issue
Would Not RecommendThese work for a while, but either leak or weld to spikot in time. To fix leak, I filed the end of the male coupler. The type of metal is junk.
