I just bought 6, going back for more!

So this is the male end of the 2-piece set required to quick connect one hose between multiple accessories. What I’ve done, and would highly suggest to anyone else, buy one female connector for the hose coming off your house spigot. THEN, purchase as many male ends as you have accessories. If the male end sits in the dirt/mud when the accessory is not in use, it’s no big deal -inversely- there are moving pieces in the female side attached to your main hose, and that needs to stay mostly free o...

I purchased to repair my hose end but the product has no instructions regarding how this product is secured to the hose.

OK, but not a real Gilmour nor brass

I bought a couple of these a while ago, but they were not brass, only aluminum with some kind of coating that makes it look “brassy” - may be just gold anodized. In any event, it wore out much faster than brass, but otherwise it was OK while it lasted. I would recommend this with the aforementioned proviso, as It’s good value for the money.

Great product

I connect & unconnect my hoses at least once a week. No problem with them losing there connection or leaking water. Easy to connect & unconnect !!!! Better that most brands, Yardsmith Connectors

Was great, now junk!

I originally bought these a couple years ago when they were solid brass. They were great! Now they have gotten cheap and are made from junk aluminum/cast metal. Severally disappointed. They don't fit well after a short period because the aluminum corrodes after a month or two. Picture attached: old version (left), new version (middle), new version after a month or two (right). Don't waste your money. Junk, junk, junk!

Not brass, corrodes like crazy

These are NOT brass. Maybe they used to be, but if they were they aren't any more. They are aluminum, and will corrode like crazy if you try to mate them to a different type of metal. I.e. if your hose bibs, hoses, sprayers, or pressure washer are made out of something other than aluminum, they both (the connector and the device) will corrode like crazy. Not such a big deal to lose a few bucks on the quick connector because of corrosion, but it can be a huge deal to lose a pressure washer or...

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE!!!

I purchased a quick connector for my hose. It worked great until it corroded and developed a leak at the tip where the connector clips into the faucet quick connect. No problem, I'll just unscrew and replace it. Good luck!!! Because the quick connector is brass-coated aluminum, and the hose clamp and faucet are actual brass; as the two different materials corroded, they seized together. I have been using these for 2 years now and love them. I use these things for the water hose connection on the leaf bag for my above ground, water nozzle, sprinklers, riding lawn mower deck wash system, 3000 PSI pressure washer, well every thing you can think of that needs a water hose attached to it and have had absolutely zero problems. Bought these thinking they were a quality product as they were made out of brass. Nope they leak like a sieve.

These connectors make changing nozzles easier and faster.

Nice product

This product removes the need to screw things on and off of the end of the hose - very nice if you need to switch from sprinkler to sprayer more than once a month. it also makes it so the attachment can rotate relative to the hose without leaking.

Great Product

Its great when you can buy only the piece you need instead of multiple sets. So far this product has done everything I hoped and is very simple in design. It has simplified my yard work experience.

Essential product

This has made mine and my gardeners life much easier. If you have several watering zones or use various attachments, interchanging is a breeze.

Added feature to my power washer

It has always been a pain in the neck to connect my garden hose to the power washer. The fixture is on the bottom and alignment of the threads is a challenge. To solve this problem I merely connected a two foot piece of garden hose fron the power washer fixture and mounted the other end the the units handle. At the other end I attached this quick connect/disconnect fixture. Now all I have to do is use the quick disconnect/connect on the end of garden hose to connect it to the power washer. No mo...
