Would RecommendThis product works great. It takes a little bit of use to get the proper motion down, but once you do you are good to go. There are instructions in the box and also a QR code to their product page where there is a nice video demonstration how to use it. I took one of my cheapest knifes and made it cut great. I did a classic paper test. As you can see in the first photo the knife was very dull and did a terrible job cutting the paper. The third photo shows the same test after sharpening. With onl...
Best sharpener I’ve owned
Would RecommendWhat a great product! Very easy to use! The anglers guides make this item so quick and simple to use! I ended up sharpening all my knives. I have high quality knives and some cheaper ones, and it would great for both!
Sharpens big or small
Would RecommendI like hiw you have plenty of room to sharing bigger blades. It sharpened all my tools with eaze. This should last a long time with care. I would definitely recommend.
Modern day sharpener
Would RecommendThe Benchstone sharpener provides a modern day solution to a age old problem of properly and effectively sharpening pocket knives. The sharpener has three selectable, sharpening grits, one being a course, diamond grit, a five and a fine, ceramic grid. Did find diamond grits advertises a 600 grit abrasive Then Tony down to a course diamond and then a fine ceramic. The stand is very easy to use and spins to allow you to use the selected a brace. If you need at the time it does have an anti-skid b...
Great benchtop sharpener!
Used this to sharpen scissors and it works great! I got a few kitchen knives and an axe to sharoen next:) I saw a video this will sharpen anything, even axes
Works very well!
Would RecommendI like the design and ability to quickly sharpen knives, scissors and tools with a different sharpening angle. The sharpener is compact and its base is very sturdy. This Diamond sharpener sharpens faster and requires no soaking and flattening like my water stone. It creates a very sharp edge quickly on the 600 grit diamond stone, and a few strokes on the ceramic stone for my kitchen Heckles knives. Triangle shape allows sharpening scissors very easily. I am using the 320 grit diamond stone for ...
Great multi use sharpener
Would RecommendWe really like this sharpener and have used it for multiple tools, including butcher knives, hedge clippers, mower blades, and scissors. There are different sharpeners on each side of the device with a different grit strengths which are marked on each side.
Good, versatile sharpener!
Would RecommendI am rather pleased with this sharpener! It has 3 great surfaces and can be fixed or left to float which allows for some good flexibility in technique
Excellent Knife Sharpener
Would RecommendThis is one of the best manual knife sharpeners I have seen. It has 320 grit, 600 grit, and fine ceramic surfaces. It has 20 and 25 degree guides. I like the pivot response lock/unlock options. You can unlock it to allow the surface to rock and follow the curve of the blade. Work Sharp has instructional videos which helped me to learn how to use the sharpener. It is going to take some practice, but I believe this will produce sharper knives than the pull-through type sharpeners.
High quality and durable knife sharpening system
Would RecommendThis is very high quality with lots of great features. One of the first things you will notice is the angle guides. This will really help beginning sharpeners to get a feel for the correct angle when sharpening knives. It also gives you an option for a pivot system which helps to get the tips of knives, especially those with bigger curves/bellies. This system offers you three easy to rotate abrasive sides. The first is coarse, then refining, followed by a ceramic honing side that cleans things u...
Workshop Benchstone Knife Sharpener
Would RecommendThis benchstone knife sharpener is fantastic. It has a non slip base so that it stays put while using. It is "Tri-Brasive" with 3 sides to sharpen pocket knives, kitchen knives, filet knives, scissors and much more. There is coarse diamond, fine diamond and fine ceramic abrasive sides with guides to follow the curve of the blades for a precise sharpening. It can also be removed from the base to hand sharpen as well. I used it to sharpen an old set of hedge clippers that had not been used i...
Great, durable knife sharpener
Would RecommendGreat knife sharpener with long sharpening stones. I really like how it has coarse, fine and super fine grit stones on the same block and all you have to do is rotate them to use each. Sharpened a few blades we have so far and each one has come out perfect. Easy to use sitting on my workbench. It lets you unlock the base so the knife sharpener can follow the curve of the knife while sharpening as well.
Great tool for all your sharpening needs!
Would RecommendWe've purchased knife block sets with the round sharpener included and they work, but I was looking for something that could also sharpen scissors, hunting knives & sheet metal shears. This product certainly addresses all my sharpening needs, plus it's much easier to sharpen our steak knives too!
Very nice addition to my bench
Would RecommendGot this sharpener with a couple of specific knives in mind that were in desperate need of a complete resharpening/honing. Expected a basic three-sided whetstone, but I got much more. This Work Sharp is super heavy duty, and is anything but basic. Assembly is a snap (literally), just set the stone surface into the base & "snap" the lock switch to secure it, or leave it unlocked to utilize the "pivot" function for curved blades. It does come with two angle guides, a 20° and a 25°, both of which m...
Benchstone Sharpener
Would RecommendThis Worksharp sharpener works fine for small applications such as pocket knifes and small kitchen knives. I used this to sharpen a few pocket knives and it worked fine. The magnetic end guides are okay and offer some visual assistance I just removed them if I’m sharpening a longer blade. The base needs to be heavier as it tended to slip and doesn’t protrude confidence that it would not move when heavier pressure is applied. Scrolling through the stones didn’t seem precise enough for positi...
Nice Sharpener
Would RecommendThis sharpener did a great job reviving a dull kitchen knife and making it usable again. The sharpener took a little practice to get the hang of but after a few minutes it was easy to use and put a nice sharp edge back onto the knife. The different angle guides are a nice bonus to get you familiar with holding the right angle when sharpening the blades.
Great Knife Sharpener
Would RecommendThis is a really nice knife sharpener for household use. It has 3 different seatings for different levels of sharpness to your blades. I would recommend this product to friends and family.
Is there a knife that's too sharp? Nope!
Would RecommendI was at one of the big wholesale stores last year and was surprised to learn that one of their premium lines of knifes was selling for over $1500. I was even tempted to "invest" in the set for about a second or two before the thoughts of my wife asking about the CC bill brought me back to reality. My knifes are mostly entry level and cheap knifes and I am always struggling to keep them sharp. Enter the Work Sharp Benchstone Sharpener. It is so easy to use I ended sharpening all my knives and s...
WORK SHARP BENCHSTONE KNIFE SHARPENER
Would RecommendThe WORK SHARP Benchstone Knife Sharpener is a good purchase for sharpening knives. I tried it on my pocket knife and it did well with very little effort. The diamond abrasive makes quick work of putting a new edge on the knife and the ceramic abrasive hones the edge very well. I'm a wood carver and usually use a leather strop on my carving knives. I'm excited to try this sharpening system on those knives as soon as I get them out. The kitchen knife in the pictures is an old favorite in our hous...
An Interesting Knife Sharpening Design
Would RecommendThis knife sharpener is different from what I normally use. I've always just used a wet stone. When the sharpener is attached to the base, the angle of the sharpener can be adjusted for different type knives. It has three sharpening strengths, including a fine buffer. I find it easier to detach the sharpener from the base and use it like a wet stone. I was able to get my three knives very sharp, sharp enough to cut through a sheet of paper.
