Easily sharpen a knife with this tool.

Benchstone Knife Sharpener. Easily put an edge back on a knife with this sharpener designed in the USA, manufacturing was done in Vietnam. It can handle scissors, fillet knives, kitchen and outdoor/ EDC tools. It has 2 angle settings and changing coarseness is done in a second. It has coarse 320 grit, fine 600 grit diamond & fine ceramic. Not a bad addition to the tool inventory.

I received the Work Sharp Benchstone Sharpener and have been mostly pleased with it. It performs well and I think the design is well thought out. It is small enough to be easily portable but would benefit from having a dedicated storage case/bag. It doesn’t go easily back on the box so you can’t use that very easily. Good Instructions

I have very limited experience sharpening knives so from a beginner point-of-view I found the instructions/demo videos really helpful. I was able to start sharpening in no time. This is a nice little tool that has numerous options. The angle guides are super helpful and you can lock it into place and use it as a strictly horizontal surface or have it pivot depending on your need. There are also little rubber feet at the bottom so it helps to not slip.

Super easy to use sharpener.

This is a great product to sharpen tools and blades. I have been needing this for a while to sharper my wood working tools. Now that I have it my tools are always sharp.

Its a lot in a compact way

This is really easy to use. I love how easy it is to get the right angle to sharpen a blade. You can do different degrees of angle for different kinds of knives. Its very stable and has 2 different grits and a polish stone.

Manual vs electric each has its pros & cons

Perhaps I am just lazy, but I found that the Benchstone Knife Sharpener required too much effort and elbow grease. I have several Work Sharp electric sharpeners, and they are my first choice. Great little sharpener for the kitchen!

First it was smaller then I expected. There is nothing wrong with that though. But overall its a great little sharpener! The rubber feet keep it planted well when shapening knives. I really like the two adjustable angles to keep the knife at the right angle for sharpening. I first tested it out on my "go to" knife. A few passes on the 600 grit made a world of a difference! This knife sharping stone is awesome with the three sided so you go from course to fine and then to ceramic to finish the razor sharp edge, it also comes with 2 angle guides to make sure you start at the right angle depending on what kind of knife you are sharpening

Great sharpening kit that is simple to use

I was looking for an easy way to sharpen my work and home knives and found this excellent product. I had purchased an inexpensive set of sharpening stones and they did not do the job, and I was left looking for a kit that would do the trick and this set did just that. Easy to use and quick too, and my knives are sharp now and they are retaining their edge. Highly recommended.

Nice Design Good for General Use

The Work Sharp sharpening system has a unique design - at least one I have not seen before. The three sharpening surfaces are contained in a small footprint due to its design. The two angles, 20º and 25º, guide the angle of the blade as you initiate each pass over the sharpening pads. It may well be operator error, but I didn't find the tool to be very effective. I followed the directions and didn't get an "edge" which would cut well.

Very easy to use and with a video very helpful.

Best sharpening system I've found for my use!

What a great product. Designed in Oregon where I'm living, this has exceeded expectations. If you're like me sometimes life gets ahead of you and you don't end up maintaining your kitchen knives, pocket knives and other things with the sharp edges that you should. As a craftsman I use knives a lot, but I’ve never been good at sharpening them. This device takes out most of the guesswork! This is an excellent knife or tool sharpener; the fact that it can sit on a flat surface offers great safety and freedom from holding it in your hands. The sharpener sharpens quickly and easily.

Well designed product

The sharpener is well designed and sized. The three optional surfaces provide adequate range of filing options for all the tools in the toolbox. This is a great product that is vey useful.

Handy tool with large sharpeners

So far, so good with this sharpener. Admittedly, I would like to have more time with to conduct a more thorough assessment, but at this point I can say the tool seems to be high quality for the most part. The sharpening surfaces are large enough to easily handle large steak knives and I appreciate the angle guides at either end of the sharpener.
