Good sharpener for beginners...
and experienced sharpeners. The guides help, the materials work well and the non-existent need for a lubricant make for a good compact self contained system. It's quick and easy to set up and sharpen (I keep it in the box it came in so I won't ruin it like I did the pocket version).

What is there not to like...seriously As a kid I saw my uncle cut his arm really bad, my dad looked at me and said..."son, a sharp knife is a safe knife". Sharp knives will never drag or get stuck increasing the chances of getting cut, yea accidents do happen...but the difference is getting a minor cut or fileting your forearm like a fish

Need more choices
Well made sharpener quality is good but what I'd personally like to see is maybe 3 types of this product. 1. One as currently marketed. 2. One with two finer grits & a ceramic 3. One with a much finer grit, a ceramic & a strop. This gives the buyer an upfront choice for specific needs w/out having to buy more expensive upgrade package.
