First impressions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problems after a month. The instructions are a bit lacking but we figured out what we needed to do. The Add Garment feature doesn't always work. I press the button as directed but the door doesn't always unlock.

Confusing Instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago and I’m so unhappy. The main board had to be replaced on a brand new machine. I don’t like buying a new machine and having a replacement part in it so soon. What is my protection in a situation like this? This is my second set of Whirlpool washers and dryers . If the washer holds up I will then give a better rating.

Good machine , horrible wifi app .

Very disappointed with the app and the ability to change the notification settings on the machine . From the app ,there’s no way to turn off the annoying sounds from the machine . From the machine display , you have to press/hold buttons just to change the notification settings .

Poor instructions

We had them installed by the appliance dealer but she needed instruction on how to operate them. The Quick Setup sheet said we could access that online but that didn't work. Too little water?

Dream Machine

Great Machine

It has lots of features I haven’t used yet, but it does a great job of getting my clothes clean. My first washer was a Whirlpool over 50 years, and it was great for over 10 years. I’ve come full circle now, and hoping this one will last as long—or longer.

Inconvenient design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machines work fine but the design is very inconvenient. You have to hold the start button ten full seconds for the machines to actually work. Both the dryer and the washing machine are designed like that. It gets annoying when you are in a hurry and you have to stand there for ten seconds every time you run either machine. Good features

Washing Machine That Doesn't Wash

Bought back in January. This machine just tosses around damp clothes that come out just as dirty and smelly as they went in. On more absorbent clothes you can still see dry spots. Sometimes with things like towels that absorb all the water I will get a no water detected message. When I restart the load after this happens, it must sense a heavier load because of the now damp towels, and it adds too much water.
