Worst dryer

This dryer takes a whole day to dry one load of laundry.

Don't buy!

I bought this dryer 7 months ago and it stopped working! The bottom filter has to be cleaned to often... Too fragile. Complete waste of money.

Too many gadgets

Had to replace mother board 1month after purchase.

The clean bottom filter light comes on quite often and the filter it self is not that dirty I wonder if it is to sensitive may be not over all it performs well.

loud

Bought the washer and dryer set last month. On the "normal" wash cycle the drum spins so fast and loud that it shakes my whole townhouse! I've had to shut it off b/c I'm afraid the neighbors will be upset. I can't use that cycle anymore bc the only setting is "MAX" spin cycle. Clothes come out clean, but it is seriously disturbing to hear that cycle. Dryer is also loud as it is ventless.

It works!

Stackables and what you need to know is important!

After a tough delivery set up and misunderstanding. The delivery supervisor helped organize and redeliver the product. Very kind and easy to talk and deal with, all worked out and very happy with my choice of Lowe's.

Machine braced for spin cycle

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Had to put a brace on both sides of the machine to help with spin cycle vibration.We have a stacking kit and it helped to improve the movement of the dryer on top.

Spinning cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clothes come out too wet. Spin cycle isnt getting the clothes and sheets dry enough. I have to put it back on re spin and that doesn’t work

Do Not Buy

I bought this washer three months ago, it has already stopped working twice. I just use it at home for standard washing tasks. I called Whirlpool to schedule a service call, they told me to hand wash my clothes while I wait a week for a technician to come.

Hate it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very disappointed in this expensive washer. It is almost impossible to learn how to work it. The computerized controls are so hard to conquer . The start button won't come on until I push it about 4-5 times. Cannot use chlorox, , cannot soak clothes. The machine is very loud. I hate it.

Good Wash Cycle Options

heater

The heater does not work. The washing machine is only washed in cold water.It does not matter how temperature is set.

Good machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this front load washer because it replaced another front loader that fits underneath a counter. While it does a great job of cleaning the clothes, it still comes with the design flaw of water not completely emptying when done which promotes mold growth. I manually drain as much water as possible at the end of the cycle but can't drain it all so it's only a matter of time for mold to grow.

Very Disapointed

Worked well on "Normal" extra dry setting for 3 weeks. Died in middle of a dry. Will not power on - repairman confirmed my socket is not the issue. Runs a cycle (doesn't dry, then won't power on). Part just ordered. Completely unacceptable for a brand new product. My family has never had an issue with any other dryer or whirlpool product. Missing time from work to wait for repairs and wasting more time at coin laundry. If not 100% effective after new part installed, expect replacement with...

efficient compact

had dryer for a year

So I have the washer dryer set. Could be the issue a lot have. The washer really spins your cloths so they are not dripping wet when you put them in the dryer. You need to pay attention to any red lights that pop up and know what they mean. You must keep both lint trays clean. I have also found the use of dryer balls make a big difference.
