Great compact dryer!

Bought this one past Christmas. Works as expected. Love it's ventless feature.

Terrible product

We recently purchased this washer and dryer from TA Appliances and we’re sold on the “ventless” drying option. What we were not informed of was the maintenance required almost daily to use these units, that our clothes would take HOURS to dry and that the buttons only work if pushed 4-5 times. The buttons have also froze on us on multiple occasions. These units aren’t unacceptable and had we have known how horrible they are to use and maintain, we would have never purchased them. Do not buy it, look for other brands !

Bought this brand new and after a few months, stopped working, apparently needs new control board 800$, out of warranty. We are a big hotel with over 300 rooms, were looking to buying more products from whirlpool, but from this last experience, will consider other brands.

Great concept

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great concept but still need a bit more fine tuning. Machine does a good job but you must be diligent on cleaning all vents after each load. Found I could save approx 30 - 40% of drying time if l cleaned vent in the middle of drying session. Because the efficiency of this product is severely affecting by any vents being dirty manufacture could of made this product easier to clean especially heat pump coils.

This Whirlpool washer works great for a small space. I am pleased with this product. It has a great design.

Terrible

I agree with the 2.5 stars. No one told me that there is a place that fills up with water that needs to be emptied. I came home to find water leaking through to my bedroom ceiling because the water overflowed. There should be major warning labels on this!

Small but efficient!

Failed in less than 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this unit around 16 months ago and now I'm hearing an extreme loud banging noise from the top of the unit. Hopefully the service techs will find the solution asap

Lint clogs the bottom filter

I have been using this dryer for a year, the amount of lint that gets through first filter is alot. The design of the lower filter makes it almost impossible to clean lint clogging the heating pump. The lint keeps building up and slows down the dryer process, I clean the bottom filter after every 2 or 3 cycles and it takes forever to dry. I do not recommend buying this dryer.

So much Easier to use than Old Ventless Dryer

All the crevices, nooks, crannies. I had to clean and clean it monthly. Plus the accumulated stale water would smell. Difficult to reach all the areas. Did not like it. Terrible It’s the worst you buy

I purchase this machine in December 2018 the shaking and vibrating is so bad my cat is afraid of it. I had service technicians called twice professional installation twice and still have the same results neighbores complaining people knocking on my door to complain about the noise and all I want to do wash my clothes geesh I would never recommend anyone to purchase this what a bunch of wasted MONEY

Violent & Noisy Spin Cycle

I bought this small 2.3 washer two weeks ago and it was delivered just 3 days ago. Ive used twice so far and although it washes my clothes great, it has a horrible spin cycle. Violently shakes and is very loud. Given its marketed for apartments and condos, its actually terrible for this environment. Floors shake so bad from the spin cycle it disturbs neighbors. Always buy Whirlpool appliances but this doesn't live up to the brand quality and reputation of Whirlpool.

Violent and noisy spin cycle

I purchased the Whirlpool WFW5090GW apartment size washer a few weeks ago at Lowes and it was just delivered on Sunday April 7th. It washes great, however the spin cycle violently shakes and is very loud. I can hear and see it bouncing and the noise disrupts my neighbors. It is shameful Whirlpool and Lowes offer this product knowing this is a common issue. Loads of complaints listed in the online reviews. My family grew up on Whirlpool appliances and have been loyal for generations. I feel like...

Promising, but needs some improvement

I have had this unit about 4 months now. I have a family of 5 and it can keep up with our laundry needs just fine. The issue I am seeing is that the foam filter in the bottom of the dryer is not designed well. It is now falling off of the support allowing lint to clog the machine. This is a poor design and whirlpool should fix this issue. Other than that, this machine works well.

Stopped working....

Bought this dryer in January and it stopped working 2 weeks ago so just shy of 3 months we’ve had it. The repair guy replaced the computer and it’s still not working and he doesn’t really know what’s wrong with it and it’s still not working.

Requires one carefully read the manual
