Would Not RecommendGot this as a Christmas gift. Worked great for a while, now the light will come back on after the lid is closed. Push the button and the light goes off, only to turn on again in about 2 minutes. It also collects water. Poor seals. I would have expected a better product from Weber.

Would Not RecommendI was given this Weber handle light as a gift about a year ago. I am an avid griller (3 - 4 times per week) and truly loved this accessory for the late fall/winter months. Needed it the other night and it did not work. Changed the batteries, still did not work. I am a believer in Weber Genesis grills (have had two in the pest 20+ years. Very disappointed this light did not have the same quality as the grills.

Would Not RecommendGood idea, poor execution. Work pretty well for a few months then stop working halfway through the winter (here in Boston) which is really when you need the extra light. Now use a ball cap with built in LEDs instead.

Second time
Would Not RecommendThis is the second light I’ve bought. It works great EXCEPT: it gets hit on the handle (which is where it’s supposed to be), it’s difficult to turn off and on, it doesn’t last more than 6 months and that’s if you’re lucky. I really need this light and wish it could be improved!

Short life
Would Not RecommendI bought my first Weber grill 2 months ago and it’s been a spectacular performer. I purchased this light shortly thereafter and it worked nicely for about 5-7 grilling sessions and then the plastic warped and won’t work anymore. This product should have been designed with the environment of a grill in mind (hot, smokey and sometimes rain). Disappointing product from a great American company.

Light doesn't turn off
The light only dims when the grill lid is shut. It does not power off after 30 minutes as stated by Weber. It has been running for the past three days without turning off. This problem started after my first few grilling sessions wherein it operated as expected.

fit to grill handle
Would Not RecommendI have a Summit S-420 grill. Initially, the grill lights (2) seemed to attach to the handle OK. But it wasn't long before they lost their grip and just spin around on the handle. You open the grill and the lights just spin around on the handle. Totally useless now. These do not meet Weber standards. Maybe just faulty manufacturing. Weber should either replace them or refund the cost.

I got this for Fathers day...too complicated!
Would Not RecommendThis didnt fit our grill handle. (Not a Weber). The packaging should say " only fits a Weber". I had to wrap tape around the handle for a tight fit. and it required 2 small screwdrivers to attach. Tiny screws over a grill, are a disaster. Plus our handle swivels, so this was not a good fit. Not sure why the batteries have to be locked in by a screw? Its not near a child.

Would RecommendBrand New grill delivered today, did not get home until after dark... No problem my new grill has a light. Pushed the button and light comes on.... But would not go off.
