Questionable durability.
Would Not RecommendCame with my new grill. Worked great, until it did'nt-about 10 months. Put in new batteries and still did not work. Now going to have to replace it. Will look at non Weber lights this time.

A nice little light
Would RecommendThis is a good replacement for the earlier design which fails because of water intrusion. The seals on the new one appear to be more robust and, in fact, it takes a kittle effor to get into the battery compartment because of the tight seal. This is the second one I've purchased and they are both working fine. When the final old s tyle light fails ,I'll one more to the handle and be ready to grill all night if need be!

Would Not RecommendBought mine 8 months ago and worked fine for a while, but do not believe these are weatherproof. Just changed out batteries and it is deader than a doornail. Not sure what the expected lifespan is, but very disappointed with these lights.

Waterproof? Not.
Would Not RecommendGenesis II 325, 1 year old. The light is not functioning and hasn't for months. I finally took it apart thinking the batteries might be dead. As I opened the cover, water ran out of the battery compartment. Who designs a light to be mounted on an outdoor grill that isn't waterproof?? Disappointed.

Great Until it Filled With Water
Would RecommendI had my grill professionally assembled, but somehow water got inside the light. The screw never seemed to grab tight enough. When I inquired about getting a replacement since my grill was still under warranty, I was told it was weather related, and therefore not covered - that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new one. Hmmmm - seems like it wouldn't have filled with water if the screw grabbed tighter. Oh well, I guess I need to purchase another one or do without.
