Quite working, fills with water

Received as present. Worked great a short time, then quit working. Was filled with water. After drying out, it worked again - until it filled with water again. Now won’t work. Absolutely not what I expected from Weber!

Very poorly made I went to use it and it was filled with water

Stops working

Had two for less than a year before both stopped working. Disassembled and checked for moisture. Still nothing. Very disappointed.

I can see my food!

I bought this a few years ago for my Spirit 2 burner gas grill, and it’s awesome! Has worked great! Turn on once it gets dark out and forget about it! Automatically shuts off when you close the lid, then automatically turns on every time you reopen the lid. After about 30 minutes it resets and you have to manually turn it on. Super clever!

Grill light - Summit 420

I ordered two for my Summit 420. Great light and easy to install.

Received broken

Not sure what you call it but the golden nuts that are intended to be fixed fell out. So there is nothing for the screws to fasten to so I am unable to attach it to the handle. I tried pushing them back in then screwing but they keep popping out. And no, I did not over tighten the screws.

Purchased of two are just what I needed to replace one burned out light, and add a third light.

Poor Quality Grill Lights !

Bought 3 of these Grill Lights over an 8 year period ! Thought they should have lasted longer ! Was not happy about the quality of this product ! Not what I expected from Weber !

Best light ever !!

I love this light. I had 2 other grill lights that were less expensive but also less bright. Your single light was brighter than two of the other kind The tilt function on your light is perfect

WOW! I Can See Again!!

This light is exactly what I needed! No more fumbling with a flashlight or trying to hold my head at the right angle using a headlamp. Lights up the grill arear so it is easy to see what the meat looks like and allows me to hit the right spots with the temperature probe to check doneness.

Takes on water, just as others have said

My wife bought this to replace a Chinese light that wasn't as adjustable and didn't have the tilt on, tilt off feature of this light. It worked well a couple of times, but it eventually filled up with water. Apparently the gasket to seal the inner workings from the rain is inadequate. I have tried drying out the light, and while I can get it to work, it doesn't shut off when the position changes. This product is flawed in a meaningful way.

Easy to use

I bought this about 2-3 years ago and it worked great for a while. I liked it so well I bought one for my son in law for Christmas in 2020 and he too loves it for night grilling. Mine however quit working. I checked the batteries and they are new showing good charge. Should we expect the light to just stop working after 2-3 years?

Great at first, but then stopped working

I received as a gift in October 2020. It worked great initially, but after ~2 months of use, it stopped powering on. When I opened to change batteries, it had water inside. I let dry out several days before installing new batteries, but now it does not power on at all. Very disappointed!

Light stopped working

The light came with my Genesis II grill, it got wet inside and stopped working.

Handle Light is very poor quality

I purchased the light in August of 2020. I used it few times, and now it doesn't work. Took it apart and found that the batteries that were provided exploded and caused irreparable damage to the batter compartment.
