I spent endless hours looking for the right grill!! We love to grill in the off season. (I don't think there's an off season in south Georgia always hot here!!) Fell apart

The screw that holds the light portion to the handle portion just fell out and between the cracks in my porch. Now the handle is coming apart. Just got my grill yesterday. The manual doesn't mention what size screws to use for each hole either...

Only worked for a few weeks!

We love our Weber grill and thought this would be a great addition. After only a few uses the light would not shut off killing the batteries each time. I take pride in covering my grill each night and dont grill in wet weather. Replaced the batteries several times to no avail. Very surprised thought I would receive a high quality product. Even worse cant cook my food in the dark.

Stupidly complicated

The design is so unnecessarily complicated that I decided that I decided to stop trying to install it and write this review instead.

Weber Grill Light

I purchased this grill light for my Weber Genesis Grill and worked for a little while and now it will not light at all. I have replaced batteries and checked the insides switch function still does not function. i am researching other options currently for a dependable grill light.

Extremely Poor Design

I received my new Genesis II BBQ last week, and would you know it, the Grill Light will not turn off. The batteries are dead since the light will not turn off. I have read today about this problem and I am amazed that a great company like Weber continues to sell this garbage. What the heck?

Weber grill lights are not weatherproof

We bought these and they stopped working after the first rain. They need to be redesigned to keep out water. We had another set for a few years, but the grill was mostly sheltered. They worked well for a few years. We have since moved the grill and it is not sheltered from rain.

Life expectancy too short for price

The light when first installed worked great, it did what it was meant to do. The issue is how long they last. 1 year after I buy it just stops working. Seriously are we to buy one every year? If you are going to make a product for outdoors you need to make it durable for outdoors we are not grilling in the house.

Great for 6 mos, then failed

Bought the light with the grill 6-8 months ago, and d as breadth the handle light has failed. So disappointed. I certainly will not be buying another, but hope I can find a replacement light.

Stopped working due to water getting into.

I brought this and the end of last summer and I started grilling again and when I tried to use the light water got into and now it’s not working.

2nd light leaked again....so disappointed

My second light both leaked and were destroyed by water.

Not Waterproof

Units stopped working, I opening up the unit to replace batteries and there was water in the housing and condensation in the light housing. I replaced batteries and the unit still didn't work. Can't find replace bulbs for the unit. Love the product when it worked.

not water tight - stays on constantly

I bought a Weber E-410 last year and figured I will try one of these lights. I really like the idea of turning on and off with the opening of the lid. Thinking I have 4 burners, I might get 2 if this works out. Well the light seemed too good to be true. I have the Weber cover for the grill that i am OCD about cleaning and covering. I have the same batteries in it for 3 days now and the light has never gone out yet.

Difficult to Install

Works fine but the screws are too short for the assembly. Took an hour to install but should have been 10 minutes

Great light

Had my light for 3 years now without an issue. Haven’t even changed batteries yet. I keep my grill on my deck all year round and covered with a Weber cover when not in use.

Don't work right out of the box.

Just bought a Summit S-670 and these do not work. When I push the on/off button usually nothing happens. Sometimes they flash, but I can't get them to stay on.

Handle light, horrible

Purchased this product a few months ago, of course used it at night and worked great. Winter came and I hardly bbq, so my Genesis 330 stayed under the brand new cover I purchased at the same time as the light. Here's spring!!! We bbq'ed yesterday (3/9/20) and the light does not work! I changed the batteries, light does not work. I changed batteries AGAIN and to no avail, it DOES NOT WORK!!!! I believe I got four uses out of it.
