Not very good didn’t last

It worked for a couple months and then stopped working. Not worth the money. Invest in a headlamp.

Leaks!

I had a similar light on my old Genesis grill and never had an issue. I recently purchased a Spirit model and bought a new light for it. Worked for a short while, but not anymore. It was completely filled with water and froze! Very disappointed.

Great - while it lasted!

This was a great product when first purchased. It worked as designed. Now once the light is activated, it will not turn off when the lid closes & just drains the batteries. Great idea - something wrong with design!

Got wet once and stopped working

This product is not up to Weber standards. The first issue is that the plastic will melt and warp if you run a hot grill. The warping will then allow moisture to enter the electronics and the light stops working. The product lasted about 4 months for me. I’m a Weber loyalist when it comes to grills but this accessory is not worth the time and money. I suppose that is why it is discontinued but that also means there are no replacement LED bulbs so that I can fix it. :(

Great Lights, a little dim but two work well...

I bought two for a 3-burner Genesis (2016 model) and have them mounted on each end of the handle. A little dimmer than I’d like but great lights. They stay in place well, don’t catch on the cover and the tilting function to automatically turn them on and off works very well so far.

On/off switch design problem

I bought this for my Genesis 330. It fits great. It doesn’t work without a constant battle to turn it on! The little rubber tip on the back of the front mounted on/off switch doesn’t seem to be long enough to psh the button connected to the led device. Push...nothing. Push as HARD AS I can, almost deforming the rubber. Sometimes it will then work. Most of the time, not. Is there a missing piece in the unit? The plunger doesn’t seem to reach the internal switch.

Handle light

Love this light, it is perfect for those late evening grill sessions.

Was excited to receive this gift. Disappointing.

I was very excited to receive this as a Christmas gift. After it leaked, I dried it out and it worked again...until the light refused to turn off and wastes batteries. Such a disappointment.

Frustrating item

Love this item when I first bought it but shortly after it was working sometimes and not others and then it stopped working totally very frustrating especially in the daylight hours that are now shortened

Terrible product- Not waterproof or resistant

So sad. This product didn’t last 91 days. It got wet and water got into the unit and it stopped working. Expected more from Weber. Especially since I love my Weber grill.

When it works it’s great!

Similar to other reviews it won’t turn off, please go back to the drawing board on this product.

Nice BBQ LED light

This light fits my Spirit e310 with a snug fit. The gray color is nice. The batteries are protected from weather. Owned 3 weeks now and used it a dozen times so far. Push a button to turn it on and it shuts off automatically after 30 min of inactivity to preserve battery life. It's on when the lid is up and off when the lid is down. It provides plenty of LED light over the entire grill area. I recommend.

Mine lasted a little over a year. Agree with other poster not up to usual Weber quality

Quality not up to Weber standards

I’ve bought this light several months ago, but it stopped working after a month or two. I disassembled it and cleaned it, and confirmed that the proper voltage was making it to the circuitboard. But still no light. Not up to Weber,’s usual high standards.

Not Weather Resistant

I am now on my 6th grill light. While they are awesome when they work, every single one I’ve had has failed after exposure to rain. Weber customer service has recommended that they be removed after use, but they aren’t designed to be removed once installed. Even if I were to go through the trouble of doing that, the pre-drilled holes for the screws strip out very easily, making reinstallation impossible. I use 2 lights on my Genesis II E-610 due to its size, but I’ve been relegated to using the ...

On/off switch

just installed batteries to test out the light, however, the rubber pad with grill icon on it, which I assume is an on/off switch seems to not be functional. Tell me it is not an on/off switch

Would be great if it worked

I bought one of these two weeks ago. Installed it and it worked great. I was thrilled that this winter when it gets dark early I'd still be able to grill out. Unfortunately I tried to use the light again last night and it wouldn't turn on. No matter how much button pressing or moving around I did it just wouldn't work. I even took it off (no small feat on the deck in the dark) and replaced the batteries. Still nothing. Amazon's going to send me another one but after reading the poor review...

Not a good product

This light worked good for about a year. I don't use it much in the summer. It get dark earlier so i tried it this weekend and no go. Put new batteries in and still no go. For as little as i used it and for what it cost I would not buy this one. Weber you need to redesign this lamp. This is not up to your standards.
