What Customers Are Saying

The product is generally considered an unreliable and ineffective tool for removing water heater elements. The majority of reviews indicate the wrench is poorly made, does not fit the heating element nut properly, and often slips or rounds out when trying to loosen the element. Many customers recommend using a standard 1.5-inch socket instead, as it provides a tighter and more secure fit. The main issues cited include poor quality and construction, loose and imprecise fit, and the need to use additional tools to complete the task. Overall, the consensus is that this specialized wrench is not worth the frustration and a standard socket is a better, more reliable option.

Sorry at best

Would Not Recommend

Very loose fit on the heater element, hardly grips. Kept slipping off the element. It took two men to use. One to hold socket on the element and one to turn it. If I could have found a normal 1-1/2 inch deep socket today, I would not have bought this.
