What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally considered an unreliable and ineffective tool for removing water heater elements. The majority of reviews indicate the wrench is poorly made, does not fit the heating element nut properly, and often slips or rounds out when trying to loosen the element. Many customers recommend using a standard 1.5-inch socket instead, as it provides a tighter and more secure fit. The main issues cited include poor quality and construction, loose and imprecise fit, and the need to use additional tools to complete the task. Overall, the consensus is that this specialized wrench is not worth the frustration and a standard socket is a better, more reliable option.

Would Not RecommendI was able to undo one heater element, before the tool started to deform and slip off the nut. Not very strong metal.

Horrible
Would Not RecommendThis is the only review I’ve ever left in my life. This is horrible, no where close to fitting the old or the new element, and is made out of the cheapest of chinesium. The tool itself rounds out before the corners on the element do. There is not much way to put forwards pressure while rotating the tool. Useless useless useless.

Used to Remove/Install Water Heater Heat Elements
Would RecommendThis is the only wrench large enough to remove and install the heating elements in my water heater. Just slid a long screwdriver into the hole on either side and it was easy to remove the elements.

Quick and easy
Pickup was simple! I bought a few more items and the young lady who waited on me was a pleasure. Most associates are not at this location. She had multicolored hair I did not catch her name, but give her a raise.
Wrong size, flimsy
Would Not RecommendFlimsy and hard to use, size is inaccurate. Better off buying a 1 1/2 " socket.

The product does not have tight specifications.
Would RecommendThe product does not have tight specifications. When you try to use it, it is slightly loose. This means you need to push the wrench onto the heater "head bolt" while using another hand to try and turn it without it slipping off. Might be better off buying the correct size socket for a regular rachet set.

Water Heater element removal tool.
Would Not RecommendThis tool is barely a tool at all! It fits the element but slips off when you try to turn an old element. This little piece of heaven cost about ten bucks, I should have bought a deep socket instead.
