What Customers Are Saying

The product is generally considered an unreliable and ineffective tool for removing water heater elements. The majority of reviews indicate the wrench is poorly made, does not fit the heating element nut properly, and often slips or rounds out when trying to loosen the element. Many customers recommend using a standard 1.5-inch socket instead, as it provides a tighter and more secure fit. The main issues cited include poor quality and construction, loose and imprecise fit, and the need to use additional tools to complete the task. Overall, the consensus is that this specialized wrench is not worth the frustration and a standard socket is a better, more reliable option.

Zero leverage

Didn’t fit well enough or give any leverage. Ended up buying a 1.5” socket and a torque wrench.

Wrench will slip on tightly fastened elements.

Would Not Recommend

Product did not work well for a tightly fastened element. Product fit was somewhat sloppy, causing the tool to slip. It did not work for me. I had to buy an actual socket to remove the element.
