Frozen motorl

I was givin for my birthday this tool 2 years 3 months Ago with a 2 year warranty. Yesterday the motor froze up, now I have 4 attachments and no motor! I am 100% disabled and can't afford a new one. Bummer

2 hours trying to start - No joy

Bought this and the edger attachment. After following instructions to the letter in both assembly and then start up it just wouldn’t start and stay running. Two hours far exceeded my patience for a new out of the box product. Back to Lowe’s it goes. Save your money and your sanity buy a better trimmer than this one.

I purchased this at Lowes wake forests, Steve was vert helpful we have find this to be a much better built product compared to some strong well built, ease of use all equipment supplied and a free trimer plus with all extra attachments for this, first impression wroth the money

Worked for 1 year

I purchased this troy-bilt a little less than one year ago. I used it throughout last season and through the start of the season this year. About two weeks ago, I noticed it was having trouble starting. I replaced the spark plug, and still- trouble starting. After getting the machine started, it ran rough. I took it to a repair shop to have it looked at, even though troy-bilt suggests that it should be brought to one of their suggested repair shops- I figured that they wouldn't be able to fix in...

Great quality for the price

Thi trimmer is very powerful. It doesn't bog down in tall grass. So far the quality seems very good.

Best Trimmer I Have Ever Used!

I knew of this brand for many years and have had a few of their products in the past. I would buy this trimmer 100x for friends and family if I could :). Strong and Good

So far, (I have used it twice now) It has been a good one. Easy start. I hesitated to buy another Troy-Built but I had several attachments I did not want to waste. My last one was the cheaper Troy-Built. Although I still have it, It was always a rascal to start. This one cranks right up. Very strong and rarely bogs down. Best weed eater I've used in a while

I bought this trimmer just to do some edging around the house. I don't have a huge yard but this thing has some kick and more power than expected. If you're in between about choosing trimmers this 27cc 2 cycle engine is the one. I took it out of the box and followed the directions and it fired right up with no problem. Plus it came with a free attachment with the purchase of a Troy Bilt trimmer worth $99 or more. So far I am enjoying it. In which I highly recommend this product.

Troy-Built trimmer

I really enjoy this trimmer when i can get it to run. I’ve owned this trimmer for about a week now and it has been a pain to get it to start. 20+ pulls just to start. I wait the thirty seconds before i use it then it’ll shut off. Normally takes me about 5-10 minutes to get to a point to where i can use it. I use the pre-mixed fuel so i know that is nit the problem. I will be taking it back and exchanging it for a Husqvarna.

Not for a novice

This may be good for a professional but not for someone that wants a simple tool to trim around there house. First, it was difficult to put together. Easy to assmeble and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many weed eater to take care of my lawn but none of them lived up the expectation to the troy bilt. I love this one especially since you can buy attachments to meet your needs to have a better lawn. When using this product i noticed when it came to weed eating it got a close cut. Starting up the machine was easy there was no issues. I went out and bought the chain saw attachement to cut the limbs of the trees that were dangling.

Excellent product

It was easy enough for me to handle as well. We've used it several times now and plan to buy again when we need a new one. We highly recommend this product.

Not bad depending on the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were given this Troy-Bilt trimmer in exchange for our honest opinion. It is very powerful, and worked well, but it also heavy. It is heavier than other trimmers we have tried. We probably would buy this if it were less than other options. We had not heard of or tried this trimmer before. The only reason we wouldn't recommend this is the weight, and if the person wasn't strong enough to carry it, and we would suggest a strap.

Would definitely purchase

I would highly recommend this to others. The power this trimmer has is way better than mine and like I said before it runs nicely. I didn't​ even realize how badly I needed a new trimmer and I have seen this brand but didn't know much about it.

Absolute Garbage

Bought 6/1/2018. Opted for the $45 dollar battery charged unit for the quick start option. Assembled mixed fuel and it started for two seconds on the second pull. Got the quick start attachment and it died trying to start it again. Let it set for a while, cranked the idle screw up one revolution and it again started and died after two seconds.
