Was delivered broken

Received item in a new box but product inside had a broken trap door so it never really worked

Even a small mouse can chew through

Set the trap in the evening & checked in the morning. Trap successfully caught a mouse, however the trap is thin plastic and the little guy chewed right through the side / bottom of it and escaped before I checked the trap.

Works with a catch

We had a field mouse tearing up our flower bed and gave this a try. The first 2 days it was a glorified feeder as the vole would get trapped, but would thrash his way into moving it and getting it open. Once I wised up and leaned a paver on it to weigh it down, it worked & he was caught and relocated the following morning

Hamster trap

Worked like a charm. Our new pet hamster escaped in the car and there was nowhere to be found. This mousetrap was able to catch him within a couple of hours.

Meh

Easy setup but didn’t work. A regular snap trap is what finally got the mouse.

Did not work at all for me

Set four of them out and the mouse ate the peanut butter from all of them without the trap being triggered.

Doesn't trip.

The mouse in my garage has eaten the bait from this trap 5 times without tripping it. I loaded the end cap up with peanut butter and the mouse completely cleaned it without tripping the trap.

Worked quickly

I bought this as an alternative to a kill trap. Followed directions and used peanut butter inside, and about one hour later, I heard a click and inside was a mouse. I honestly didn't think it would work but it did! Definitely recommend!

Mouse Trap

This device did not catch any mice but it may be that the mice retreated from the cats. I wish I could have rated it based on my comment but "does not apply" is not available...

Doesnt Work!

We live in the woods, in a house built in the 40’s, so lots of spots these guys can slip in. I know when my cat starts to stare underneath appliances for hours on end, its time yet again to address it. I set TEN of these last night in my kitchen & on my front porch. When i looked at them all this morning, about 6 had tripped, all were empty except one. I honestly think the trap is too short, so larger mice can actually get hit in the rear with it when it tries to close, or their tails are still ...

Caught the Mouse in 3 Hours

Set this trap next to the suspected living quarters of my new roommate and baited with PB. Three hours later I hear it click shut! Simple, effective, and reusable. I just hope I released the little dude far enough away from my house....

patience is key

purchased two of the traps. It took two days before mouse was caught, but it kept being tripped previous days before.

Simple and Very Effective

I caught 3 mice within a few days of purchasing this this trap. I've used this trap before in my old house, and I tried the attractant gel that's sold separately and it didn't work at all. What works really well is a small dollop of peanut butter. Also, putting the trap along a wall works well, just make sure the open end of the trap isn't touching the wall. Otherwise the door won't close as smoothly or easily. The texture of the surface where you place the trap also effects the trap's efficacy....

Junk

Trap front piece will NOT STAY OPEN. It shuts itself as soon as I put it down, no matter how carefully. So it’s useless. Junk.
