What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the trap's effectiveness at capturing mice alive, with many reporting catches of three to seven mice within days using peanut butter bait. The humane design strongly appeals to those opposed to lethal methods. However, significant drawbacks emerge: reviewers report false triggers with no mouse inside, mice escaping after partial activation, and bait theft without capture. Success depends heavily on proper placement and using minimal bait. While many find it effective, design flaws and inconsistent performance frustrate others, creating a divided customer base.

They work for a couple of weeks. But then some were easily closing when we would put them down. We originally got 5 and bought 4 more cuz had more mice than expected in different spots in the house. Then another 2 openings broke off. Idk I don’t think they last too long.
It works! Small size best for mice

Don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendI bought three of these with the "attractant" (bait) the company sells. The attractant consistently brought in mice but all three traps failed to trap the mice every time. I stopped keeping track after the 5th fail but it was about a dozen total before I threw them all out. Very expensive waste of time. I would give it no stars but one is the lowest.

Great Trap
Would RecommendSaw a shrew on Friday morning as I was about to leave. Set the trap with peanut butter Friday night. Saturday afternoon while, I was working from home, I heard noise coming from the trap. It caught the shrew but as I picked up the trap, I didn't secure the trap door and it escaped. Reset it, and 10 minutes later the shrew was back for more PB. The trap tipped over though and he escaped again. Set it up for a third time and caught him again 2 minutes later. Must love peanut butter. I released him...
It works
Would RecommendI put two of these down and didn't get anything for a few days so I put conventional wood kill traps beside them. Then these started to work. Got 2 while the wooden ones got none. I think that the mice were too small to trip the wooden ones. They were eating the peanut butter but not tripping the wood ones.
Easy to use.
Would RecommendI liked that the mice were easy to catch and I could release them in a specific garden area. But if the mice are tiny, you need to put the entrance down a bit as sometimes they do not weigh enough to set off the closing of the entry.
Not worth time or money
Would Not RecommendLike many others, mice enter, eat, go home to chill. Lowes should stop carrying this brand. Was a waste for people who wish to release. It does NOT work.

Safer to use than poisons or snap traps
Would RecommendThese traps work very well when you have good bait. I used pieces of dry cat food which they loved. The scent lures them in, put the bait way in the back and boom they are caught. I tossed them way out in the bak yard. Lots of cats out there, no danger of poison.
Doesn't Work
Would Not RecommendI've been attempting to catch a single small mouse with zero luck. I have used lots of peanut butter, which it has enjoyed, but no catch. Very frustrating.
