Good product, susceptible to frost, bad support

Installed this lock in Apr 2022. Works nice. I use it for the homekit/homekey features. Liked being able to set a passcode for guests. Battery life was acceptable for four AA batteries. Overall positive experience. Then we had a hard Indiana freeze with -36 windchill in December 2022, and the space between my doors frosted up with a thick layer of frost. Was worth the wait!

Works Perfectly, was easy to setup and install, was able to be rekeyed, has multiple unlock options from Apple Home Key (my favorite), the keypad, and the physical lock.

Good but not great

The encode plus is a very good smart lock for apple fans. However, I just wish it had the little door sense to let you know if the door is closed or open. there are other lock which will tell you " door is closed and locked" . Imagine your door being wide open and you get a message that your door is locked. Schlage we need something to tell us if door is closed or open.

Impressive lock

This is my first smart lock. I did a fair amount of research and am very happy I made this purchase. The app is great and the lock works great with an Apple watch. I think I read a review once that helped out a lot. It said you should first connect to the Schlage app during set up. After that it is easy to set up the communication with Apple home kit.

Lock your door from anywhere !

This lock is so great, I don't know where to begin. Out of the box, it was easy to setup, took me about 30 min to set everything up. My kids often forget to lock my door, so this keyless deadlock is really great to have. The best part about this lock is the app, its well design and really intuitive and easy to use. The premium price is worth it because of reliable the lock and the app is. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade. Never lock your self out again.

This lock is definitely expensive but it works.

This lock itself was easy, very easy to install. So far the lock works as advertised. My only issue was the instructions book and how to best download the app, that was a little confusing.

I thought it was easy replace current deadbolt.

Encode plus

Easy installation and easy set up with iPhone. The two screws included to secure the inside portion of the lock are junk they strip out very easy. Do not overtighten. I replace them with stainless steel ones.
