Samsung washer is terrible

Had this washer for 3 years, I’ve replaced the door latch, drain pump and door boot seal, and now it seems like the door does not close properly and water leaks from the bottom of the door. Steer clear of Samsung, we will never buy another product of theirs.

Failed so miserably I received my money back

At first really liked the product. Attractive and cleaned well. Eventually it got louder and louder and louder. Then a few days before Christmas with an extra 5 people, 9 total in the house it failed. A week later the repairman said it was the motor, the one with the 10-year warranty. He ordered parts and after 5 or more phone calls, he finally returned a month later. This still didn't fix the problem. Long story short. One load down

After bring the washer home and hooking everything up the washer worked great for the test cycle and the first load that was run. During the second load the washer filled up and would not run or drain. After manually draining the system and going through the trouble shooting steps I was able to run the washer again and the same thing happened. This washer went back and no more Samsung for me.

Love this washer!

I am leaving this review solely because several lowes employees discouraged me from buying a Samsung product. I am very glad that I did not listen to them. This washer is amazing and has lots of features you wouldn't know about unless you read the manual. It heats the water up itself which is great! No drain on your hot water heater. The steam feature allows you to remove odors and stains. I have kids! That helps. We have animals and the allergen feature helps when washing their blankets. You ca...

Wife loves it!!

Had an old LG washer that after 8 years had a leak. Took a gamble on a set of Samsung washer and dryer....my wife loves them!!

Doesn't wash good

It doesn't distribute the liquid detergent or bleach very Well.

First Samsung Washer & Dryer

We purchased this set over a year ago at Lowe’s. I never review products until I’ve witnessed the good, the bad and everything in between. SHAKES UNCONTROLLABLY

Shakes like crazy and comes off the ground. Brand new product! Lowe's will charge $150 to come look at it- not fix it.

Drum, bearing issues.

Washer went bad and tried to get replacement. Called 6x and hard to get a hold of someone to have come out and service the washing machine. Long story short, they could not fix. Drum and bearing went bad after having only 2yrs. Make sure you have warranty if you purchase this washer.

Do NOT purchase!

Lowe's is amazing, loved the ease of purchasing all of my appliances! Loved the early Black Friday sale prices that they gave me.... onto this machine.... it was amazing, while it lasted... Super quiet and gets the job done.

This washer is great. I have had it now for about 2-months. I am so pleased with how quickly I can get laundry done and how clean everything washes up. They only reason I didn't give it five stars is b/c even though it is leveled on a concrete floor, it will on occasion vibrate out of position without any rhyme or reason; but even this is just slightly compared to the old antique set I had before.

Very Surprised. Get it!

I’ve always researched everything before I made a purchase. I went to my local Lowe with another brand in mind. I was looking and found washer in the open box area on sale. Major Repair after 6 years- third Samsung failure

I also had the common spider flange failure which makes replacement cheaper than repair (see Amazon ratings for Samsung front load washers too). I'm done with Samsung- I had two LED TV's and now a washer fail due to their use of cheap parts.

Great washer

This is our first front loader and we are excited with how effective the machine washes and spins. There is very little lint after the cycles, indicating less wear and tear on our clothes. Great at adjusting the cycle time based on the volume of clothes loaded.

Poorly manufactured.

I had to call and have parts changed out after having the washer just over 30 days. And have had it serviced several time after for other reasons and only had it for four months.

A piece of junk

Our washer has stopped working after just 18 months. Lowes appliance repair was unable to fix it after 3 attempts and told us there is nothing else they can do. Lowes appliances told us the same thing. I wish we had never bought this machine.

Poor latch and smells

We the latch replaced and it is loose already. You have to be very careful closing it. Of course out of warranty one year 3 months. The washer has constant smell, have run clean mode and never leave door closed. Have several other Samsung products bought at same time nothing but problems with dishwasher, microwave and mini split ac. Service is awful
