I don’t recommend
My husb & I purchased this new stainless steel washer & dryer combo at a naval base store about 8 years ago. We paid far more than expected. I regret this purchase. They both ceased to work very shortly after the purchase, & several times over the years. I DO NOT recommend these products.

I can’t say enough bad things about this washer and dryer. Bought new 7 years ago. Had both serviced multiple times within first 4 years. I will never buy another Samsung ANYTHING. Dryer has died. Washer is leaking from the door area onto my hardwood AGAIN- already had this fixed once. Buying a different brand. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

Can't Complain About the Price!
We inherited this washer from my Mom when she moved. The washer was barely 2 years old then. Now we have used it almost 6 years. It stated leaking right after we got it. It only leaks in the beginning. We don't like it when I can only have a delayed start but can't have it finished in certain time which was our old GE washer's feature. It cleans ok.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. I bought the washer/dryer pair about 5 years ago like many other reviewers. One of the dryer drum wheels seized within the first year. Not a big deal. Fast forward four years later and the washer main circuit board and motor controller board both died. While it could have been a power surge, the washer was on a surge protector and no other devices in the house had problesm.

the reviews speak for themselves. samsung does not make reliable appliances. i purchased this washer & matching dryer as a set less than 4 years ago. dryer began leaking gas after 2mos while we had a newborn at home - ended up being replaced after replacing 2 parts. now the motor on the washer has stopped working, i am not in the same situation as the dryer, waiting on a replacement part. very disappointing that samsung doesn't offer any compensation for such a poorly made machine. this will on...

not impressed
washer stop working within two years. keep doing rinse and spin cycle forever. it's a very common problem for samsung washer. i have seen many posts with the same problem. never over load and use it twice a week, can't believe it dies so fast.

Good enough while it lasted which was 4 1/2 years. The average lifespan for a washer is about 14 years.No one around here (Goldendale, WA to the Dalles, OR) can or will work on it.
