What a Mistake

Less than two years Old and replaced bearings and shocks... Our Kenmore washer and dryer lasted 14 years. We are very disappointed. Oh, by the way.. the dryer needed a new belt and wheels for the drum around 9 months; making noise again so I better this this scheduled.

Fits our family needs

I bought the washer in July of 2017. I particularly like the options for soil/length of wash. I'm very happy with the quality.

Very similar to what I had before. These washers only last for 8-9 years max. Maintenance however is very expensive.

Washer is very loud!

This washer is very loud! When the washer is on the spin cycle it sounds like a jet taking off. Also, during the spin cycle the machine vibrates loudly! The washer frequency gets out of balance during the spin cycle. Wjen not in use, you must keep the door open otherwise the washer smells terrible inside. This occurrs despite regularly running the clean function on the washer. I don't think the washer is getting the close clean b/c it does not use very much water. Sometimes clothes come out...

Poor quality

I own four of these washers and matching dryers, every unit has had parts replacement between one and two years.

Outdated Already

I bought this machine in summer 2015/2016. I find myself ready for an upgrade already in summer 2018. I chose this machine for its sanitize and allergen cycles and the vrt noise reduction tech. I like those features as well as the steam feature, unit size (can wash and dry king size down comforter) and the unique pleasant sounding sound alerts. Waste of Money

I’ve had it for 2 years. I’ve had to set washes on bedding AND run twice with extra rinse to get a decent wash. It looks pretty, but the bottom line is, it’s just not a good washer.

Really quiet

Really nice washing machine. I love how quiet it is and the steam option. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new washer.

Ok features

We bought them couple years back, got the protection plan have called several times because they keep ruining cloths tried different things different detergents always keep up on maintenance clean all filters etc. were just fed up with thw poor quality of wash this machine produces.

Terrible! they built these as cheap as possible!!!

We purchase both the washer and dryer back in August 2016. 1 year and 2 months in, the plastic wheel for the tension pull melts on the dryer. We are at the two year mark and now the washer is making funny noises!! Oh and for the record it is only handing a family of two. I personal would not waste my money on this product.

Too many issues

My first one had to be replaced because it was so messed up that it shock my entire house and felt like we were in a tornado. It was so bad that we had to replace it, there was no fixing it. The second one they replaced with it, none of the lights work!!! This is so frustrating.

Great Washer!

I can't say enough about this washer. It does everything you would need and more. Very efficient and as long as you don't overload it, washes very well. Would definitely recommend to others.

Loud noise since day one.

I purchase a matching set brand new February 2018. I went with Samsung because I have had great experiences with TV's, phones, & refrigerators. I loved the looks and features of the washer & dryer. However, the washer makes such a loud banging noise when starting & stopping the spin cycle, that it causes my walls to vibrate, which freaks out my dogs, then they start barking. front-loaders just don't last long

I replaced a Whirlpool with this Samsung 2.5 years ago. It now will not spin out the clothes and needs service. Thank goodness i purchased the extended warranty. I haven't had much luck with these front loaders. Aside from mechanical issue, the machine does clean very well.

Can I get a DUMB Machine?

Been using this machine for about 3 months and for the life of me I can't find a way to get a sufficient amount of water in it to properly wash my clothes. I figured it was applying water based on the weight of the clothes so I tried doing a Rinse/Spin cycle prior to actually trying to wash. I was hoping that soaking the clothes first would add to the weight of the clothes and trick it into adding more water. NOT. No matter what, the machine does not supply water enough water to wash the clothes...

Mine is useless after 3.5 years of use

I bought this new in Sept 2014 and now, April 2018 it is totally useless. I had a repair guy out and he said that they repair involved removing the drum and would cost over $400 and it wasn't worth it. So now I need to buy an new washer. Do NOT get Samsung washers. It just shuts off and then restarts in the exact same place over and over and over again. No error code.

Good washer, but beware of Rebate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Washer works very well, except for the spin cycle. Without much laundry in the washer, it thumps and has to try several times to balance the load, but eventually gets it balanced. My 15 yr old Kenmore set actually washed clothes faster, but this seems to get them cleaner. The rebate is a joke. I was given the rebate info at the store by the sales rep and filled it out online. What they failed to mention, and isn't mentioned anywhere on the rebate slip... is purchase price is BEFORE taxes to qual...

Good luck

Had this washer for 8 months and it began randomly pouring water out of the bottom. Luckily it was still under warranty and Samsung refunded my money.

I regret buying this washer!

I had a similar Samsung front-loader for six years; I replaced it with this one. While this machine works "OK", I have two complaints: First, it absolutely does NOT spin clothes out as much as the older machine; towels in particular come out "heavier" than they did on the older machine. They are still fairly dry, but not as dry as expected from in the past. Which means more time/electricity in the dryer. Second, for some reason, EVERYTHING ends up at the far back of the machine!
