Great washer

This is our first front loader and we are excited with how effective the machine washes and spins. There is very little lint after the cycles, indicating less wear and tear on our clothes. Great at adjusting the cycle time based on the volume of clothes loaded.

Poorly manufactured.

I had to call and have parts changed out after having the washer just over 30 days. And have had it serviced several time after for other reasons and only had it for four months.

A piece of junk

Our washer has stopped working after just 18 months. Lowes appliance repair was unable to fix it after 3 attempts and told us there is nothing else they can do. Lowes appliances told us the same thing. I wish we had never bought this machine.

Poor latch and smells

We the latch replaced and it is loose already. You have to be very careful closing it. Of course out of warranty one year 3 months. The washer has constant smell, have run clean mode and never leave door closed. Have several other Samsung products bought at same time nothing but problems with dishwasher, microwave and mini split ac. Service is awful

Replacement Required

We purchased this same unit two years ago, and just before the year mark, the unit had a catastrophic failure in an electrical system component that caused an electrical cascade failure. We had purchased the 5yr extended warranty. It’s a good thing we did as we had to replace a new unit just under two years of operation. Delivery and sales personal were the best! Appliance, we love the color and performance. Great on stream-wash. GREAT all around!!

Leaks below door seal 2 weeks after purchase

We bought this washer after discovering that our 8 year old Whirlpool washer was leaking out the bottom. We were somewhat concerned at the store about front loading washers and how their door would seal. Well it seems our concerns were well founded. A MERE two weeks after purchase we have a leak from the door seal. This was the whole reason we bought a new washer. Poorly Made

We had two of these (didn't learn from the first one) both lasted 3yrs before the main drum failed. First one came apart throwing conrete-like pieces into the wash. Second one main drum bearing failed along with the speed control for the rpm and it was declared not economically repairable. Fortunately we purchased the Lowes warranty and Lowes refunded our purchase price and allowed us to buy a different brand. Won't ever buy another Samsung product. Thank you Lowes for your help!

Defective from the start

Got this washer 2 months ago. From the beginning it has never been able to use cold water, (yes, the cold water tap is on, and working!!!) and the delay start doesn't work. Supposedly, Samsung is going to replace it. I have a "reference number". So much for that. Samsung has zero customer service. Their "service line" has people who barely speak english. Apparently their assembly line has people who have no idea what they are doing, also.

Never again

I absolutely hate this washing machine. We've had it about 4 months, the spin has never worked right, just will not balance correctly and makes a horrible racket, no matter how it is set and what spin level we request (it was installed by Lowes). We have a nice size laundry room - or at least I use to think so. Considering the depth of the washer, adding for hose space (35") - we should have plenty of room. but the door does not open flat and the extra deep "window" sticks out when the door is ...

Walking Itself

Even after leveling this machine several different times, the force was so strong (and noisy too), that the machine continued to bounce and rock back and forth out of its set position and towards the center of the room.

Great Washer, economical and quiet.

This washer runs quietly, and does a fabulous job cleaning anything you throw into it. I must say it required fine-tuning to level. I thought when I installed it that it was level. I shook across both diagonals on the top of the washer and no shake was apparent. Then I ran my first load. It wasn't shaking around the room badly, but it was apparent that one of the feet was a bit too low, as the washer shook visibly across the diagonal during the spin cycle. Unhappy Customer

We bought the matching set 2 years ago. It just doesn't clean clothes well enough. It always has a musty smell even though we leave the door open between loads and we use the cleaner on a regular basis as recommended. It stops mid cycle at times and says it has a suds error. Not perfect but close

I only have two complaints about this washer that I have decided aren't too big a deal. First is I'm shocked that the self clean setting is a 4 HOUR setting. That really seems a bit much even for a self clean. The only other complaint is after I finish laundry for the week I have decided after reading lots of comments others have made about keeping on top of mildew smells that I will regularly remove the entire soap dispenser tray and separate each of the compartments and lay it to dry on top of...

Don't Buy This

Removed the shipping bolts, leveled it, run the calibration mode and ran a test cycle. It vibrated something awful. Checked my level - everything was still dead on. Ran with a small load of clothes. Still had a small vibration. Having never had a front load washer, I thought I had loaded it wrong. I live with my son only so we don't wash a lot of clothes. Terrible Samsung Customer Service

I purchased this Samsung washer and dryer with pedestal recently. While installing, the Lowes technician discovered that Samsung packed two of the same corner brackets (LR4)in the box. I called Samsung to get them to mail out an LR1 to my home. These brackets are attached to the four corners of the pedestal. Why are they still able to sell these?

Call a local repairman before you buy! Samsung front load washers are known to last as few as 4 years, have faulty, cheap parts that break down and corrode, produce frequent error messages, and leave a moldy smell on clothes. Mine lasted 5 years...I'm told I was lucky. Cheap plastic door hinge broke at 3 years, rubber started breaking down and collected in the filter, and it finally started making a clunking noise that indicates the insufficient 'spider' assembly has corroded. Use on first floor only

I've had this machine for about 2 years now. They have a problem going into the spin cycle. Needs better or more balancing rings. Watch YouTube videos first. My washer has literally added 10 mins to my wash cycle. In small laundry rooms it is noisy. For first floor use only if you live in an apartment. I cringe when it's time for the spin cycle. I'm going to sell it for a washer with better spin cycle.
