Great front loaders

Washer is extremely quiet and easy to use. Only minor complaint is you need to be really tall to see Dryer Dial Options when you have these units stacked.

gotta take the bad with the good

Got the washer/dryer set. Dryer has its own review. I like this washer except for the fact that the cycles are VERY long. A small load on the hand washable setting takes 45 minutes. Most all other sizes & types of loads take over an hour. A load may take longer, but due to the capacity, you don't have to do as many loads. Excellent Purchase

This is the first time we have owned and used Samsung Washer- Dryer and so far the pair is above our expectations. As we have read all the wonderful reviews and a few rants and raves concerning these items we are well pleased. The price was also a big reason as we bought previous to Black Friday .

Good Value

I purchased this Samsung washer with the matching dryer at Lowes Black Friday sale. The salesman and deal could not be beat. However, Lowes installation left a little to be desired. I watched the install and the installer did not level the machine. He said all they do is make sure all feet are secure with no movement when pushed on the corners, then run the wash/spin cycle with empty drum to insure no vibration. Awesome Washer!

This is an awesome washer! My boyfriend's work clothes usually have some combination of dirt, grease and oil (he works on cars and is a truck driver). I used to have to use half a bottle of S***y 'n W**h to soak all spots, use T**e stain release liquid, T**e detergent and hot water to get his clothes somewhat clean in my old top loader. Great purchase, worth every penny

Ordered ours for Black Friday on Wed, recieved on friday night. It's very quiet, easy to use and I am so happy. I've never had a front loading washer and its so worth it. Quiet even up to the spin cycle and seems to barely use any water. Clothes are coming out clean and nearly dry!!! Very nice!

Horrible

I bought this washer Friday. Set it up. Did two loads, next morning, stopped spinning. Drum was completey loose. Washer balanced but drum seemed disonnected. Both loads were light to medium loads. Brought back to Lowes got a new one. This one has something in between the drum and the washer itself inside. Can't be used or damage may occur. Third time is not the charm, going to bring both this and the dryer back and go back to the Frigidaire brand I had to replace after 13 years of constant use. ...

LOVE IT !

I am so glad that I went with this machine. So far so good. We have had it about 45 days and we have already seen a $5.00+ a month savings on our water bill (2 person home - we get billed monthly for water here) . It replaced a DEAD hydrowave GE top loader that was only 4 years old when it died. Suggestions: 1) Make sure you remove all the shipping bolts from the machine and properly level it. 2) Never overload it OR leave wet clothing in it longer than a few hours unless you want wrinkled and ...

Awesome washer - one quirk

I love this washer. Clothes come out clean and fresh. It uses plenty of water and has great features. I love everything about it...except for one thing. The drain pump does this weird start/stop thing that doesn't sound good. If it's a defective pump, that's fine - I'll get it replaced. If it's supposed to act like this, it's annoying as heck.

Love this washer!!

I've owned this washer for about 9 months and it has performed beautifully for me. Clothes come clean with minimal water usage. It's very quiet and looks beautiful on the pedastal next to its matching dryer. The only change I would make is the little tune it plays when it's finished could be about half as long and still be a reminder and not a "nag".

Great Washer

After 13 years our old GE washer finally bit the dust and I picked the Samsung washer based several reviews I read online. I was debating between the LG and Samsung but the Samsung had more features for a little less money. The washer cleans my kids football and baseball pants with ease. Before my wife had to scrub and pre-treat those pants and still may not come clean. The steam feature is definitely a plus.

Machine won't spin

This machine had difficulty balancing and spinning even small to moderate sized loads of clothing. Thought it was just a defect but after the 3rd one, said no more. We made sure it was perfectly level and it still would not work properly. Upgraded to the VRT Plus and a larger machine. So far much better performance wise but have only had the new one for a week.
