Amazing Machine!!!

This machine is just more than I expected in a washer. It is easy to use. The instruction book that came with it is easy to follow with very concise directions. The quick load and hand wash cycles are especially nice. Delicates and hand washable sweaters come out looking great. The spin takes out so much of the moisture that drying time is much shorter and makes the entire "business" of getting the laundry done and out of the way an easier job. I bought this washer with the matching dryer. They replaced an old Kenmore top load set. What difference!! Wished I would have done it sooner!! These things are QUIET compared to the old set. The washer uses MUCH LESS water which in turn runs my well pump at lot less. The other thing is the clothes are practically dry when they come out of the washer so the clothes are dry in no time!! NOT HAPPY

I purchased the pair and absolutly love the dryer. The washer is another story. I owned a front loader for ten years and loved it. We sold it when we moved and I couldn't wait to buy another one. This one has only been trouble since I got it on Nov. 28. The first load I did would not spin out. I called Samsung customer service and the rude woman kept asking me if the load was too small or too large. Nice Washer - Good Value

Contemplated getting a washer a few models up the chain that had just a few more features. Glad my wife talked me out of it with the argument of "how often do you think we would use those extra bells and whistles". We have found that even this one has more features then we use and it does an excellent job cleaning the laundry. Very happy with this purchase.

At first I Loved this washer.... now 2 years later

In 2009 we bought the washer and the dryer. So far we have had to have the service people out 3 times. The most recient time is the most costly. The steam hose broke causing the steam to leak out of the hose to the main computer frame causing condensation to leak into the LCD face breaking the washer completely! This washer is way too expensive to last only 2 years. The first service call was at 6 months , the second was at 14 months and the third was at 23 months. Now we have to buy a new washe...

This washer has many great features!

From normal wash to sanitizing clothing, this washer is "top dog"! I love the bedding cycle for linens, the heavy cycle for stained clothes and the gentle cycle for delicate clothing. I've never owned a front-load washer before this one, and I am so thrilled about how much we are saving on utilities since it does not use much water to wash the clothes! My favorite feature is how it "sings" when the cycles end! The whole washer is amazing!

Sometimes does not spin out, then you have to hit "rinse/spin" again. Long cycles. Jury is still out.

not as nice as i thought

rubber sealing ring gets mildew in it, hard to clean and makes it smell sour. Also any small piece of string, a button, coin, etc. makes the machine be unbalanced when it is spinning and does not always spin the clothes dry enough.

very clean clothes

This machine cleans clothes noticeably better than our old top load. It is very quite water running is loadest part of cycle. Front loads take a little longer but clean much better but this one must be perfectly level because of VRT. I have only 14 loads so far and have had problems with small to med. loads in quick cycle (25 min. est.) taking well over 1 hour. Samsung sugested service tech hopefully they can fix that, if so I would rate 5.

great for a larger family

Being a two person family we have to accumulate alot of clothes before doing laundry since small loads don't spin well and stay too wet with no option to have just an extra spin. If I knew it didn't do small loads well I would have chosen something different but since our family could grow within the next year or so I think it was a good investment. Overall the washer is great and attractive and VERY quiet, I sometimes have to go check to make sure its still running and the end cycle sound is so...

So far after one year

This washer is holding up quite well after well over a year of use. No problems with this unit at all. One small ritual that I do is leave the loading door open between washes. Some people have mentioned mold or bad odors. I have not experienced that by leaving the door open. Two small complaints. I wish there was a pre-soak setting, but since this is a front loader, and uses a small amount of water, that probably isn't possible.
