Great machine, great value.

I purchased this machine over a week ago to replace my 8 yo Whirpool top loader that quit. Since I bought my new washer, I ran it pretty much non-stop for several days to catch up on backed up laundry and so far so good. It washes very well, even heavily soiled clothes form my son's camp. We ended getting a pretty decent deal on this washer, but we still debated whether or not to go with the LG or the Samsung. We went with the Samsung, and to our suprise the warranty on it (which is why we felt better about the LG at first) was equal or better on this unit. Good product for the money

I have had this unit for approximately a month. So far, so good. I had spent the extra money and bought a Bosch which died after 4 years which precipitated this purchased. To give you some background and a watch out, when I called Bosch to inquire about the durability, I was told "sorry, about your luck but that's why you need a warranty". Does not get clothes clean!!!!

The washer only uses 12 gal. of water, but takes an hour and a half. It just spins the clothes not even getting them wet! Nothing comes out very clean and still feels like clothes have soap on them.

Would not buy again

I have had this machine for almost a year. My main problem is, if you have really dirty clothes, i.e. 4 children who play sports in the dirt, it will NOT get your clothes clean. It does not have a soak cylce, so I have had to do that in a sink prior to putting clothes in to wash. It does spin the clothes almost dry which cuts the drying time way down. molded junk

I've had this washer for about two and half years. We have to clean it often we use the expensive HE soaps and we do all of the things samsung suggest to "reduce" the issue but the bottom line is this thing is a molded piece of junk. Very Nice Washer

Cleans well, cloths are almost dry when finished. Wash times are a little longer than my old agitator but the time cloths are in dryer is shorter.

Mildew prone

I've had this washer for about five months and have had repeated mildew problems with it. I've leveled it to minimize standing water, I clean it regularly and thoroughly, I leave the door open, etc., but the problem persists. I'm not picky about having things crystal clean, but this washer is simply unsanitary.

Some Things Good, Some Things Just Okay

I really like the size, the look and the ease of use. Clothes get really clean and are nearly dry due to the high speed spin cycle. The spin cycle causes the machine to vibrate a significant amount, even on the low setting. I had a bottle of detergent on the top of the machine and it vibrated off. My husband checked and the machine is level. When the washer is finished an alert is supposed to notify you that it is finished. The alert is a low chime that sounds like a child's toy. Bang for your Buck

Have had the washer 6 months now. Would buy again. Washes well. Easy to use and set up the wash cycle controls. Like the rinse and spin cycle. Lots of choices for wash cycles. But don't like the drain filter way down by the floor. Our old washer did not have a drain filter and we never had any drain problems.

LOVE IT

I was a little nervous to buy a front loader after reading all the nightmare reviews of them and was actually going to go with a toploading agitator but they didn't have it in stock and I needed it on the spot. I LOVE THIS WASHER!!!

This is by far the best washer that I have owned. It is very quite even during the highest spin cycle. It's very easy to use and clean. I love the drain at the bottom to empty out the old water. My clothers smell wonderful and are very clean.

Energy saving basics

As a single, energy conscious individual I found this washer has all the features I need to clean my wash and save on water.

LOVE this machine!

I've had this washer for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. It's quiet and gets clothes very clean. I don't need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive machine- unlikely I would use them if I did. This machine has everything you need including a quick wash cycle since the regular cycle takes almost an hour. Delayed start is a fairly standard feature anymore, but it's very handy to use. It's fantastic and would recommond to anyone. It did take Lowe's a week to deliver it though.

Great improvement over our old conventional washer. Very quiet and efficient.

I got this & the matching electric dryer just after the tsunami in Japan, my units had already been in the store. They don't buzz, they play notes, & when all the operations are done for that load, it plays a little happy tune kinda like it sings... it has auto sensing for how much water to use... it is really quiet standing next to them, but in my old house, I can hear it upstairs on the main level & because of the location the sound travels up the duct into the bathroom on the second floor... ...

Great Washer - Great Price

For what you pay, this is a great washer. I switched from a 20+ year-old top-loader, so probably anything would seem good compared to that. However, this washer does so many things on its own - senses the amount of water needed based on the load; dispenses detergent/bleach/softener; senses out-of-balance loads (it stops and tosses the clothes a little if it starts to wobble during spin cycle).
