We have had a Samsung washer for about 8 years now. We really liked it and never had a problem. The washer is now failing just like it's mentioned several times in these reviews. I HATE this machine! Although the filter has NEVER been clogged and is checked often, the machine frequently stops during the drain cycle and displays the "nd" "not draining" message because it detects a "small clog." This then requires an extremely inconvenient and frustrating draining of the water in the machine via a small 6" hose at the bottom front. The manual says to drain into "an appropriate container." This washer LITERALLY stinks

Wow, I'm surprised to see how highly this is rated overall, considering I read other reviews where people cited the same exact problems I'm having. Let's forget about the fact that it simply does not wash well (clothes go in with stains and come out with stains, as if they'd never been washed; smells of perfume, deodorants, etc., still evident on clothes after they've been "washed"). A bit surprised

I bought the 3.7 cu ft. VRT tm front loading washer/dryer January 2012. Through this first year the good size loads with remarkable quiet spin didn't even know it was on. However, the door had proved to have on going closing problems the latter six months. Eventually the door wouldn't lock. Gets clothes cleaner than ever. Have saved a bunch on my water bill. Love this washer.

I am absolutely in love with this washing machine! All of my clothes come out super clean, smelling nice, mostly dry already, and are never damaged! I love the pretty song it sings to me to let me know my clothes are done! I have a crummy old dryer, but it dries every load that comes out of this washing machine on the LOW HEAT and ENERGY STAR LESS DRY settings! Do not buy!

After only 2 years it broke. Problems with not draining and not spinning. Called a repair guy and he said the main computer board is not sending signal to the motor to spin. It will cost $400 to $500 to replace it. We also had a samsung microwave and it also broke two months ago. Will DEFINITELY NOT be purchasing Samsung appliances anymore.

Excellent Washer with great features!

I purchased this washer with a matching dryer and love the fact that they are stackable. My small laundry room now has a lot more floor space because I replaced a side by side washer and dryer with these. There are many different wash cycles, but honestly, I primarily use the standard cycle. I love the fact that it plays a tune when the cycle is done. Great Washer, great Value

My wife and I have had this washer for almost 2 1/2 years now. It has been moved three times and has never had a problem or even a glitch. I highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a great washer for a great value. Just remember to keep the bolts that hold the drum in place when you move the washer from house to house. I have been told since the drum is concrete if it shift too much in transit, it will break, then the washer is useless after that, so keep that in mind.

Great Product

I bought this washing machine after my other one broke, I was very happy with the price and it seemed to be a large capacity. The washer is very quiet. You are able to pause the washer after you have started it. The only thing I don't like is the signal is very quiet and I usually don't hear it when it is done.

Worst purchase ever Do Not Buy

This washer only had a one year warranty and the motherboard went out at 14 months. Samsung replaced it as goodwill and then 4 months later it went out again. They only warranted the part for 3 months and now refuse to do anything else. It is not acceptable for this product to go out so quickly and 2 times. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS -- I will never buy a Samsung product...

Poor Washer For The Money

After 18 months the drain pump failed. Our old washer needed it's first repair after 25 years of use! The repair man said the pump problem is very very commom for this brand of washer. Allthough the washer is quiet it DOES not get the clothes as clean as the older washers. The order that is also associated with this machine is horrible. I would never buy this washer again let alone a Samsung one!

Great machine

I'm very pleased with this machine. I washed a white fleece jacket that had a coffee stain that was one year old with some pretreatment spray and it came out! Love it!

Works great--and so quiet!

Just can't say how pleased we are with this Samsung washer. It gets clothes thoroughly clean, uses less water, and is so incredibly quiet that you hardly know it's there. If I needed another washer, I'd buy this model in a heartbeat--it's that good!
