SKIL 15-ft Laser Chalkline Laser Level

It is functional and apparently accurate. We bought it to help us align the addition to our tack room. It is a bit hard to see the LASER dor at high noon but it was doable. It is better to use it an hour or two either side of noon if you are working outside on a sunny day.

It was easy to use and the mounting tape was very handy. I was able to set the laser against the wall and make my marks without any assistance.

Great for what I needed.

I needed something to help align craft project and this worked great for the price. Id didn't want to spend a lot of money and was happy with this purchase.

Skill Laser, chalkline with level

My wife got the fever after seeing on one of the home improvement shows - an accent wall. She went through several potential designs and settled on two and of course she chose the more elaborate of the two. Approaching me with a smile i had to say sure baby i can do it. With a picture in hand i began to formulate a plan. Paint, frog tape, tape measure, and a regular level. Regular 12" level did not work. I could not keep the tape lines straight. Could have used this

I was looking for a stud finder and a Lowe's employee pointed this out to me and said it was his favorite one to use. I didn't read the label and just took his word that it was a good stud finder. I get home and opened the box and realized this was not a stud finder. I returned it and got a stud finder. After hanging a few pictures and some art I realized I probably should have kept this laser level. I'm sure it would have been more convenient than using my 48" level.

Good almost great

I am new to DIY and knew I needed a level that could stay in position and free up my hands. This level did exactly that. But, the sticky material is sticky-tack for hanging posters, kind of a let down when working in dusty conditions. The laser does go the distance, but with older, bowed / curved walls, can get lost and make following the line impossible. If you have challenging walls or floors, stick to an old school chalk line.

Decent

Just average. Feels cheaply made but it gets the job done.

Great Tool for Hanging Anything on a Wall

Hung three frames with shells in them and they look great--all in a line, perfectly spaced and centered.

Used it for laying floor tile. Worked great for keeping my rows straight

Does the job

I used it for hanging pictures. The sticky tack was adequate to hold it on the wall it did the job. It did use the batteries up quickly but the batteries are not expensive, especially when you buy them in bulk on someplace like Amazon. The price at Lowes was better than any where else.
